If you can make a good Oaxacan Old Fashion, you can do it strapped to an S&M harness with a ball gag for all I care.

I just think this is the case of no one's at fault and everyone's at fault. If after the 2012 loss to Italy, I went to the Italian board, of course, I would see a bunch of people gloating and talking shit about Germany's team. I should probably not incite them with more shit slinging.

Might be. Still prefer Weigl. Can has a better engine and more powerful, but he tends to forget himself and go on marauding runs, which may in return hurt us. Weigl is million times better ball distributor and more fluid, which may suit us better. Both probably equally good at defense.

    Challenge Accepted!!

I usually know my temperament and know it is best to stay away from the other boards when my team has lost. Especially if I know no one there. Different with the Bayern board...I have actually had beers with a few posters there.

But whomever takes that spot has to adapt to Kroos' playing style and not the other way around. Do you really need another distributor? Admittedly I know very little about Weigl's performance so I'm really in no position to chime in here, but it just seems like what we really need now is someone who can support and complement Toni's skill set so that he doesn't get shut out of the match like he did against Italy.

Having said that, maybe another player who can distribute and maintain possession is a good idea if Kroos is targeted like he was last night.

    -Kimmich------------------------Hector
    ------------Emre Can--Kroos
    --------------------Oezil
    -------------Mueller--Draxler

    Mustafi for hummels is fine
Gotze for Gomez and we lose our target man and muller loses his best ability
Losing our DMs this late in the game......that's extremely concerning :/

I think given the injury crisis Löw will stick to the 3-5-2. France 100%, Iceland 50%

Well this is bad. Germany's attack has suffered greatly without Gomez. Muller is out of form so I really don't want him as the lone striker. I would bring in Schurrle for that position and allow Muller to continue to cause problems for the opposing team's defense in the center.

so is Gomez's injury the reason why he mishandled that close shot against Buffon, that could have given us 2-0?

because no one cares about the Bundesliga....sadly, but when an English or another league does it, it becomes a Cinderella story or one of the greatest shocks in football history. Some even compared Leicester to Greece Euro 04.

As a Spurs fan I can quite honestly say that this is not true. We have only ever won 2 titles, the last one in 1961! The last time we finished in the top 2 was in 1963!

Last season was the first time we have even been genuine challengers in many, many years, was the highest we've finished in 26 years and yet we still finished 11 points off the top.

I would certainly like us to "genuinely contend for the league most years" in the future, but up till now you definitely cannot claim this.

Up till the last few seasons the BL was a lot more unpredictable then the EPL.

@Lahmfan will start a semifinal thread soon :D

Discussion of English and German leagues should be taken to the appropriate boards / threads.
