Hey guys those who are scared as hell may be try to keep the negativity within yourselves for few days? What do you guys mean by "this Spain or this Italy"...few days back after Spain took the lead against Croatia football pundits on Twitter declared them as champions...now they are out so "this Spain"???
Our team is supremely talented compared to the current Italian squad...if our coaching department can't figure out the right tactics and players suck on the pitch then it's a different issue altogether..we are far more superior, talented and reigning world champions...if we can't beat this Italy team then there is simply no excuse...
Life is all about having small small milestones..we haven't beaten them ever and this is the chance...we have experience, capabilities and things to learn from 2012 debacle...if we can pump in 7 goals against Brazil in Brazil in a World Cup semifinal, we can beat this Italy team...have some faith and show some positivity...pleaseeeee....

 

It's all about psychology for Germany. They must be very patient against Italy. If we insist in dominating them too early, they will score right away with their very first counter Attack. I hate a scenario similar to that of 2012. Expect a sever first half pressing game from Italy. Just stay calm and wait for opportunity.

although I think Draxler needs to prove he's consistent in more than 1 game after his superb match against Slovakia. I think he should start against Italy, we need more than just passing the ball around if we want to beat Italy and Draxler's dribbling skills could come in handy against a tough Italian defense.

 

I don't know how to fit him in the squad but I think the presence of Bastian Schweinsteiger is required on the pitch on Saturday

I agree we need to score first, biggest reason we won the WC 14, was because we scored first in every match. Conceding first against Italy will put us in a bad position as they have a tough defense and it will force us to attack which could open us up for counters.

 

I love having this matchup. I believe strongly that we need to conquer this Italian monkey on our back, and there's no time like the present.

still like the last match, my prediction is the same 3-0 for Germany. As soon as Germany score first, this Italy will collapse because they play only 3 defenders and have to run forward too much.

Just don't fault too close on the goal, and the corner, it seems Italy are very good at set pieces. This match also is the real challenge to RB either Kimmich or Howedes who plays in this position will be pressed a lot.
