Gotze was horrible but one thing I noticed about Low is that he usually doesn't play Gomez, if Gotze was on the field. Gotze played the full 90 (before added time), makes me wonder if he'll start Gomez against Poland. As he did say who starts depends on the opponent. I agree about the 2nd point, it's one reason why we sometimes struggle to score as there seems to be an end to where we can go.
Kroos man of the match .... Germany made 650( over 600 ) passes Ukraine 260 or so , Kroos completed 102 passes . That's incredible from Kroos.
Oh, right, I forgot we cannot discuss how things could have been much better if we won. If we won there couldn't have been very much improvement at all. My apologies.

People keep saying Ukraine was unlucky not to score. They weren't unlucky, that's just the difference in quality. A team like Ukraine can't finish because they don't have the quality and won't go far. Next up is Poland which is a better side, but not really by much. The difference between Ukraine and Poland is Lewa...he has the quality to finish and WILL take the simple opportunities Ukraine made a mess of. Now what I think of today's performance. Well, it was mostly solid but they made it way too easy for Ukraine to attack...especially from the right side.
POOOOOOOORVIIIIII!!!! We missed you. How's married life? Ukraine had 15 good minutes of football in which they put German's back to the wall. They were non existent in the 2nd half aside for a couple of counters. Germany basically played, let's pass the ball to each other and not shoot inside Ukraine's half right at the edge of their box for like 25 minutes. The only time Ukraine produced anything in the 2nd half - it was when Germany misplaced a pass.
