Low: Schweinsteiger's influence is growing The Germany coach believes that the midfielder is "getting better with every game" after the 2008 finalists beat the Netherlands to take another step towards the quarter-finals http://www.goal.com/en/news/8/main/2012/06/13/3171927/low-praises-schweinsteiger-influence
Two decent assist. I hope Low's team gets that much space and time until the trophy presentation. lol.
I'm so happy I was wrong! I still prefer Klose to Gomez but those were nice goals, especially the first one! Well done Germany.
dude? whats your problem? i am a doctor, just tell me what is that hurting you and i will help -- promise.
Lol. The sitting guy looks like Bayern fan. The fat guy explains what happened to all those trophies.
i think it explains more how we eliminated the over hipped and over priced team in the world from the semis
Coming up against the opposition they have, I think its been a great ride for all of us. Even the goal was complete misfortune. I always had doubts about Hummels mindset, he seemed t liable to make brainfarts but my, what tremendous ability he has, if he keeps going like this - he's going to grab the attention of the worlds biggest clubs. Badstuber was always a question because Germany like to play a high line, and he's pretty slow, but his anticipation and strength are huge, and can compensate for these deficiencies. They're a great pairing, if Badstuber goes up for a corner, from which he nearly scored, there is always someone covering him and vice versa. Hummels is an exceptional passer of the ball and good to know he learned a thing or two from Loew, who seems to have excellent communication with his defenders. They both have incredible maturity, and somewhat non-overlapping skill sets, so this has worked really well against top opposition. Can't wait to see them against Denmark, assuming Loew doesn't start Merte though at this point I don't think he will.
Khedira is kind of one, but he the necessary attacking instincts. Schweini is a pure box to box midfielder, he's a genius - period.
Exactly, only positives can be taken from this game. Even the goal was pure luck, 9/10 that would've hit the defender and not gone through his legs.
Ok, what I saw last night was def. better then our performance against Portugal. The offense war more sharp, Gomez was a killer. What is still beyond me, is the fact, that Lukas Podolski performs like a ********tard and still plays 90 minutes...what the hell is wrong there? Same with the Subs: always Kroos, Klose and Bender. It´s coming to my mind that Jogi has his personal favs. and those are almost untouchable. Why not Reus or Götze for Poldi? The left side was dead the whole match - unacceptable. The Defense round around Hummels and Boateng looked very good most times, Lahm and Bads with an solid performance. I loved Schweinsteiger and Khedira last night. Schweini with the touch of brilliance and Khedir fighting like a lion. Özil seems pretty lost most of the times - he had a couple of very awesome movements, but none were really dangerous because he had nobody he could´ve played the ball to. Good result, but def. enough stuff to work on. And BTW, friggin Sub Podolski out goddamn...no reason he sould be in there anymore.
Wonder if the MvB/RvP detractors will STFU now. I had the feeling that MvB was watching time catch up with him on the sideline after he was subbed.
One things that is really disturbing is Loew's approach to subs... when will we see, Schurrle, Reuss and Goetze!
Hard not to like him in a Deutschland Trikot. His interviews and his (recent) play. BTW...look at all the 'Niederlage' players bickering behind him!
I think you'll be fine. I'm a Bayen fan as well and I'm certainly not going to argue that Hummels is being fabulous.
