At least for the Crew, Steffen played his best in the biggest games. We are better when we have competitions and Horvath vs Steffen is good for everyone.
Another season of such performances and I feel a lower table club in the PL or Bundesliga should take a chance on him. Probably follow in the steps of Mathew Ryan without the Valencia detour.
How good would you say Genk has been this season to deserve the no.1 spot and how much is due to Brugge dropping too many points?
Genk is probably the best team in Belgium right now, but FCB dropped too many points after Danjuma got injured. The game they played in Genk ended in a 1-1 draw with FCB being the better team
FCB challenge this year is they can’t score goals and they have had injuries. Last year many players were scoring plus they had so many games where they pulled it out last minute or got a late penalty. This year is true test of Leko last year he inherited the squad and rode the wave. Let’s see what they can do this half of season and hope Horvath continues his strong play !
57' and the witches down 0-1 after a goal at the 18' mark, a header from a corner no one could have saved. I think. https://cc.sporttube.com/embed/9jaCCCG/no-preload Can't blame Ethan.

Brugge vs. Charleroi Shots on goal: 4 to 3. Keeper saves: 2 to 4 (duh). Blocked shots: 7 to 3. Free kicks: 19/19 (another site has 21/20). Corners: 4/6 Shots off-goal: 4/3 Poss.: 55%/45% Not a good game for Brugge, at home they should have been faves against Charleroi. Still in position to make the second qualifying round of the next Champions. Barely, just by goal difference. Another unexpected loss and it's the Europa.
Brugge always makes the playoffs, anyway. And only Anderlecht has won the league more times than them.
