That has me wondering if he got an EU permit to play in Norway? Then again that wouldn't have mattered since they're not in the EU.
Norway is part of the European Economic Area (EEA), which parallels a lot of the same employment features as the EU. Assuming he doesn't have a Hungarian passport, it would be up to Norway (and then Belgium) to issue him a work visa.

https://www.espn.com/soccer/uefa-ch...9/ucl-draw-real-madrid-to-face-psg-in-group-a Group A: Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, Club Brugge, Galatasaray. A dream group for him to play against.
I hate to say it but that might be the best he can hope for. If he doesn't get a transfer in the next 4 days, he better get Mignolet to catch the chicken pox next month.
Update on Horvath: The last minute addition of Simon did not give his agent much time. Brugge lied to him all along said he was their #1. Third time they have screwed him. Look for move in winter trans window in Jan. In meantime like he has done before he will work his ass off & when Simon f...ks up or is injured he will be ready. Lastly Berhalter bringing in Guzan and not Horvath is f...ked up !
Blaming GGG is probably speculation. He more than likely was hoping for a move and to use the International Break as a time to get acquainted with a new club if he got his move.

0-0 final "Mignolet untested in goal, nor did he contribute effectively on offense." My emphasis. {Also, my quote.}
They did Ethan dirty. This was his season. Playing matches against Madrid and PSG would have got him the right PR for a decent move to a top 4 league. I still don't get how Brugge can afford Mignolet's high wages.
They just announced they have a €100 million budget this season. In the article they mention Mignolet as one the players they could afford now that they have raised the budget. https://www.voetbalprimeur.be/nieuw...te-club-van-het-land-100-miljoen-budget-.html
Take this list with a pinch of salt as various sources give different figures. 1. Club Brugge €100 million 2. Anderlecht 70M 3. AA Gent 44M 4. Genk 40M 5. Standard 30M 6. Antwerp 25M 7. Oostende 16M 8. Zulte Waregem 16M 9. Cercle Brugge 15M 10. KV Mechelen 14.4M 11. Charleroi 14M 12. Kortrijk 14M 13. St-Truiden 12M 14. Eupen 10.2M 15. Waasland - Beveren 10M 16. Mouscron 10M
