As it was with Jen Grubb in WUSA, Becky's WPS streak is a semi-dubious honor (kind of like the fictitious Crash Davis' distinction of holding the record for most minor league home-runs). They're good and strong enough to go the distance in all their club's games, but not deemed good enough to be called up by their national team to cause them to miss league games. I'm glad to see Becky finally get the recognition to break this streak that I think Grubb should have gotten too.
