But nonetheless, the complaint you made in your earlier post would apply. Jeebus. It's like playing bridge with monkeys: they think they've won the game if they eat the cards.
Not really sure where this goes but this is hilarious, an interview with 13 y.o. Messi has surfaced (and been translated): http://www.espn.com/soccer/blog/the...al-the-bible-babys-day-out-chicken-with-sauce 20 out of 100 on rotten tomatoes: modelo OK though
Well he is at least clear (but humble) about wanting to be a soccer player for his nation and that always includes getting paid to play soccer, so I think pro soccer player was always #1, and PE teacher is a great fall back.
So Barca will play Liverpool on May 1 and 7. That’s good for Barca since Liverpool has a must win match on the weekend between the two legs , while Barca should be able to field a complete B team - so good to have the two CL legs as close as possible. Conversely, good for Ajax to have their two legs 8 days apart, for a similar reason. Ajax actually have their cup final that weekend (weird), so at risk of playing as much as 120 minutes with their A team. Ajax will play 3 matches while their title rivals, PSV, will be idle just ahead of their last league round.
As regards Ajax .... One thing in their favour is that Spurs will be without Son ( suspended ) and still without Kane ..
Hey guys, Just a quick question here, there isn't by any chance a special thread dedicated to attending Barca matches is there by any chance. I'll be in Spain for a week attending the Champions League final in Madrid and am looking at perhaps adding the Cope del Rey final in Seville which Barca are also playing in. Problem is tickets available are really high, like around 400 euros on Viagogo and site like that... not sure if I want to pay that much for the game, plus there's logistic issues in getting there and stuff... will ticket prices for that match eventually come down, or are there other places to get tickets for the Copa del Rey final?
Weird story, Rosell found innocent, but his jail sentence is only reduced from 11 to 6 years? Maybe that sentence relates to a different conviction, one which was not just overturned? I'm sure there's a better article. The whole thing stinks. https://www.sport-english.com/en/ne...son-sandro-rosell-is-found-not-guilty-7421586
Paraphrasing a news report: This had to do with charges against Rosell related to the sale of television rights for matches involving the Brazilian national team. He was accused of misappropriating funds coming from the sale of TV rights and the organization of friendly matches featuring Brazil as well as from a sponsorship contract between Nike and Brazil. I'm guessing the 6 years is for a separate case related to Neymar's transfer from Santos in 2013. Corruptions charges were brought after a Brazilian investment group said it received a smaller compensation because part of Neymar's transfer fee was concealed by those involved. Rosell resigned the presidency in 2014 because of the allegations, which he also denies.
Saw an interview with Malcom. Simple guy. Seems happy he is at Barca and seems ok with waiting for his chances. Doesn't look like he is going anywhere next season if he can help it.
Great read about Suarez and his return to Liverpool (and maybe even an Ajax final) by Sid Lowe, it suggests he has already topped Kubala's goals record, unlike what was posted above. https://www.theguardian.com/footbal...interview-barcelona-liverpool-any-player-join
8 years ago today, Busquets made the pocket pass (as they would call it in basketball) and Leo did the rest: #OnThisDay🔙 2011📍 Santiago Bernabéu🐐 WHAT.A.GOAL pic.twitter.com/fqxj9KBiPE— FC Barcelona (@FCBarcelona) April 27, 2019 #LassIsMore!!!!
Didn't Xavi joke somewhere about not getting credit for the pass he gave Leo in that Getafe Maradona goal?
