Nungaray was an unused sub for both legs of Morelia's CCL Prelimary Round matchup against Tempête.

On the roster for the group stages, and looks like he scored yesterday in a reserve (U-20) game.

These are the kind of guys I like to follow and root for. Guys who really want to represent the US.

Good news. Hopefully he can get some more minutes during the Apertura.

Scored again yesterday for the reserves. Started but was subbed at half.

Dating back to the 2010 Apertura, Ernest has 11 goals in 37 games, not bad for a MF. Maybe he's ready for a loan to maybe a 2nd division Mexican side for the Clausura if he can't yet break into Morelia's tough 1st side?

Glad to hear that he is still scoring goals. Being loaned to a 2nd division club wouldn't be bad.

Nungaray had gone back to Morelia for a while but has now rejoined Toros Neza.

They're into the semi-final round of the second division playoffs and won the first leg 1-0, with Nungaray playing the final 7 minutes.

Neza won the second leg 2-0 and is in the final. Nungaray was the first sub in off of the bench.

Neza won the first leg of the final 3-0. Nungaray was again the first sub in off of the bench.

If they win the second half title, they will have a playoff with the first half champion, and the winner will be promoted to the top flight.

Nungaray in at 74' of the second leg, and Neza added a late goal to clinch a 4-0 aggregate win.

Next up: La Piedad, with the winner claiming a spot in Mexico's top flight.
