He’s more mobile in the press and scores

Ozil has been off and emery doesn’t seem to like him

That's too sensible, too practical. Don't you know that we all operate on deeply held subjective biases about which players are good & bad, valuable & worthless?!

From what I understand, Rambo was already considered, passed on, reconsidered and re-passed on. Legend or not, he will be leaving us at the end of the season.

I hope not, but that's what the club is saying.

Ozil has been off and still has put up more goals and assists than Ramsey.

Ramsey hasn’t been playing that well this season. I think you all are getting too caught up in one game.

Add his salary demands to his performances, and it makes no sense for him to stay.

Not sure where you got that data but Squawka has Ramsey 6 assists vs Ozil 1.

Arlo said during the match that the league leader had 7 assists.

The decision was made on Ramsey and I respect the new decisiveness.

I'd prefer the club didn't go round in circles!

Of course if he plays like a dervish for the next months and in that new context they negotiate something then fine.

Jitty’s right. Ramsey is 27 and is not going to age well, especially with his injury history. Basically paying him in years 3 and 4 for whatever he does in years 1 and 2.

Bad news indeed, but I don't think ManUre had much to do with it. It was a normal, fair challenge, and one that didn't look like it would cause anyone to do their ACL.

In fact I think all of our injuries from yesterday just seemed random: Holding (knee-bad), Ramsey (ankle/foot-hopefully not too bad) and Mustafi(hyperextended knee? probably minor since he played on)

I stand corrected regarding the assists. However, these are just Premier League stats. But, if Ramsey has six in the league, then I suspect that he would have more overall.

I still believe Ozil gets you more goals and is just generally more creative in the attacking third (even if it doesn’t always lead to goals). Ramsey can finish plays, but Özil can create plays and get in the end of things. Both are streaky players.

Anyway, for the time being, we have them both.

Depending on the formation, I agree. Ramsey is more of a natural midfielder.

I messaged you a couple of picture of me for your curiosity. Keep them in the bathroom for days that your wife travels. It’ll be our little BigSoccer secret.
