Middlesbrough got promoted from League Championship and relegated back down without their subforum being moved out of League Championship and back. Bolton got relegated to League One and promoted without their subforum being moved out of League Championship and back.
This used to be done, but I don't know if that means it was easy. It's just once a year. Villa is more than a year removed from the EPL now. ...in case you were waiting for the start of the new season.
