Our set piece defending has been phenomenally bad this season.

As for Pogba, if we’re going to play him out of position we might this is what happens.

 

An injury may part-explain his poor performance generally, but he wasn't so injured he couldn't at least challenge for the header on the set-piece.

 

Phil Jones and Chris Smalling are being given the run around by Dwight Gayle.

The point really is that he hasn't looked like himself at all again today. Would be amazed if it was him sulking or mere bad form.

There's nothing more infuriating than seeing that ******** Jonjo Shelvey have a good game against us.

 

We must have the slowest batch of players in the universe. Never is there a shot on goal without 8-10 defenders in the way.

Jose goes on about the controlling the game in pre game comments.

Then plays Pogba and Matic as a pair.

Pogba can't handle the 2. It' all mental. He doesn't have the discipline.

 

Despite all evidence showing its a bad idea, Jose decided to...

1. Play Pogba in a two man midfield.
2. Leave an injured Pogba on long enough to cost us a goal.
3. Play Sanchez at LW and Martial at RW.
4. Partner Jones and Smalling.

He's just not a coach. Gets more wrong than he gets right and is too stubborn to adapt.

 

We also have the shortest -- never on the end of a cross. Plus, we never shoot from outside, so the defenders can always safely bunch in the middle.
Maybe the players just aren't very bright?
