When: Sunday November 11, 11:30 EST
    Where: Emirates Stadium
    TV: NBC gold (I think)

The unbeaten run continues. We welcome a tricky opponent to the Emirates this Sunday. While we are favorites, I can see us having a little trouble with this lot.

I assume Bellarin, laca, ozil, xhaka, torriera, Leno are back in. Not sure about the rest of defense and who he will start out wide.

I think we should not play like wolves on Sunday.

We should do well as we can exploit their 3 at the back with width

The NBC Gold subscription starts to be paid off. What is this our 3rd match on Gold so far?

Just checked Arsenal.com's official team news:

    IFFY FOR SUNDAY:
    - Lichsteiner
    - Monreal

    BACK SOON-ISH:
    - El Neny
    - Mavropanos?
    - Koscielny?

    OUT:
    - Danny :( :(

So perhaps the good news in all this is that Bellerin, Sokratis, Holding & Mustafi all seem fit to be in our squad. AMN too. So if one of those iffy hammies recovers quickly (Nacho or Stephan) then we could still have a very strong back line. Phew.

p.s. Here's our season: LLWWWWWWWWWWWDWDD. Not too shabby!

I just realized we were on at the same time as the Manc derby. What idiot set these schedules. So tomorrow we’ve got no interesting games until the palace spuds match, but Sunday two big fixtures at the same time??? Preceded by Chelsea and pool?? Why not move pool to Saturday and then play us early and the mancs later. Is the Sunday tv slot that much more valuable?

At least 4 is the official word. Unless we get up and stay up in top 3 or 4, you can bank on more. :(

Fantastic build-up play there, but then their defender makes an amazing save on a point blank shot by Laca.

Then on the counter they force Leno into an equally good save.

Wow, almost as exciting as that 13 seconds at Anfield earlier today. Luckily no goal was scored on the break here.

COME ON, TURN THIS AROUND BOYS!

This is the kind of game where you'd rather have Guendouzi than Torreira, in my opinion.

The way we're playing in their half, it looks like only a matter of time until we score. I'm confident.

But can we keep them from adding to their tally? that is the question I cannot answer.

Yeah, but I've been wondering for a while if Emery thinks Torreira+Khaka offers better balance than Guen+Xhaka. And he seems to want Xhaka in there, so...

The problem is Kolasinic, slow, misleading pass to Xhaka. You can see the team doesn't trust him.

And, just generally playing like garbage.

Have to play Xhaka, because no one else offers that passing between the lines.

Just like the Arsenal of old?

Good, crisp one-touch passing. 74% possession. 86% accuracy. 3 corners. 0 shots on goal. And the all important stat: 0-1 scoreline.

We can only hope that our trend to improve in 2T holds true today.

And yet if it wasn't for him we'd arguably be 0-0 at HT. He screwed up twice on their goal: once by strangely deciding to let a pass go by him when it was well within his reach, and then being a split-second late on his attempt to prevent the ball from reaching their attacker... thus the OG.

Edit: Fixed the above upon rewatching it. Maybe this was one of his 12 incidents of lost possession in the half?
