I'm guessing that Jose will only remember and mention Lukaku's play in the first 10-15mins and conveniently forget the rest. He's been awful for 75mins.

 

Not only that...look at the unnatural position Bellerin takes on a 50\50 ball. I'm more annoyed about a 3 match ban for something that is accidental.

 

5 minutes to go.....there can never be enough technology to keep these games from looking rigged.

 

Lukaku can't even settle the ball.

 

The Pogba red is the same as a loss because we'll likely drop 5 points in the next 3 games without him.

 

MOTM goes to Lingard, but De Gea put in the most outrageous performance on the day. It really could have been a 6-3 win for Arsenal but for Dave.

 

DDG clearly motm and it's not even close.

 

Pyrrhic victory, if I ever saw one. Dave should be the clear MotM.

 

Great result, good performance. Rode our luck defensively at times - we seemed at times to keep clearing it upwards rather than out.

Not a red - just stretched for the ball and Bellerin leg on the ground in a weird position.

 

That was not a red card. Bellerin's leg is right in the path of Pogba's run. WTF is his leg doing on the ground like that? If anything, Pogba should have gone down for a foul the other way.

Atrocious refereeing.

 

Can we even win against City with a tired Matic and no Pogba?

As for the game, I'm pleased with those first 20 minutes, but jesus Jose...they were wide open for the rest of that game and we bent over and hung on by the skin of our teeth. Just exploit their weaknesses.

Lingard has earned that 10 position for now (never thought I'd say that), he always worked hard and had good movement...now we get end product for the last 2 games. I doubt it will last but it's his to lose.

 

yeah, was thinking the same thing. Not ready for primetime yet or does not have restraint.
