three lions, listening to 442....and yes, I turned up the volume...took me back to that game vs greece....I just kinda went mental when the goal went in....my mum and dad said "calm down!" but i was opening the door and running down the garden yelling and going oh yes.....and then i came back in, and my dad, who is a D-Day veteran from 1944, looked at me as though i was crazy....I know he didn't understand....but they had taken me out to live in NZ and australia when i was young, and i had to go to school there, and put up with all the "Pommy bastard" shite....and I never wanted to leave England in the first place, to me England is home....I was happy here....and so, whenever England play, it is like.....part of me getting back at all the people and stuff I know this sounds wierd, sorry 3 lions...just that is why I get emotional about it...it is like not soccer for me...it is about something more important to me....and why I'd die to pull on that England shirt and when i venture forth with ideas about formations and players....it isn't about a soccer game....to me it is far more than that. To me it is about connecting with my fellow England fans and feeling part of a "band of brothers"...in aussie i was alone and had to curb my tongue....now i am back in God's Own, and love seeing the videos and flags and love for England Greatest country in the world kidz
