Well, the Germans have definitely had the better if the first 15 mins, we really need to get hold of the ball a bit more and secure more possession

That was coming and deserved for the Germans. I’m not sure what KWP was doing though? Good finish though.

The usual performance tonight. 22nd game together and they still don't look up to much.

  4. Pretty dreadful from England so far, given the ability in the squad.

Yeah it’s been pretty bad but there’s no way our midfield of Dowell & Davies can live with their movement. Amiri is having a field day.

Imagine if we had a competent u21 coach?

Lucky not to be two down there! It’s an awful performance but credit to the Germans, they are sooooo much better.

Germany look like a team. England look like a group of lads who have come for a kickabout.

Well, I’m glad to see some of Boothroyds old school tactics are still in place, if in doubt, give it a welly.

we drew France U21 2-2, in a game where the French needed a direct free kick goal and deflection to score. We dominated most of that game as well.

could give you an idea since France U21 is in your group in Summer.

This is not a vintage german team. However, this game exposes the class in tactical acumen brutally. They are out thinking us on and off the pitch. Its exactly what we've seen for years at u21 level for england. Boothroyd out. And my view doesnt change even if we win tonight

Or in our case grab a lucky scrappy goal like that. Really undeserved tbh, you guys have been the better team by some distance imo.

First time I see this u21 side dominated but the germans are much better than I thought, incredible technical quality. Don't really get the negativity, Boothroyd made many changes and this is a german side that would outplay most teams in on open play, like they outplayed France. Foden is soooo good though.

How many of this german side do we think will make it to their seniors though? I cant see any names Im uber excited about tbh. Even dahoud whose been around a while and cant get in a young dortmund team. Yet they are tactically way ahead. ....but yeah, foden is good from an attacking point of view. Demarai grey seems to have lost form. I dont seem him in this team above Nelson or cho at the moment

when Foden is on the right and let the ball run through his body is a thing of beauty.

I have no idea, they might not be incredible individually, but as a collective force the way they keep the ball is pretty impressive.

If we are to try and measure up to the likes of Germany then we really need to improve our midfield as it’s franky not up to it. Dowell and Davies just won’t cut it this Summer if we are to try and compete. That’s why in a way, I kind of hope Winks & RLC ( I know it won’t happen ) can drop down as that midfield is a real problem imo.

Simply not true. Won 5/1 in Denmark after dominating from start to finish, won 2/1 in Italy after complete domination too. I wanted Boothroyd sacked after the last euros, but we must keep a sense of proportion

yeah, we battered Denmark, similarly to the last cycle. But we didn't dominate Italy, by any stretch. It was a pretty fortunate win.

Then you can't just ignore Toulon and all of qualifying.

    Foden is class!!

However, not particularly impressed with KWP tonight. Actually think I prefer Kenny.
