Not entirely sure which thread this would belong in, but there's talk that Fifa want to combine the U20 and U17 World Cups and instead have one U18 or U19 World Cup with more teams, either annually or bi-annually.

Sounds like a pretty trash idea.

center halves playing wide generally struggle with their passing. From the middle I think he's pretty good on the ball for a CB.

I agree with this. It was a horrible pitch and a generally awful game too. I don't think he was particularly bad, obviously is never going to be Dani Alves down that side. It reminds me of any CB that's been played out there, even Stones wasn't entirely comfortable. It isn't the worst experience for a young CB to have.

So, as I thought Sessegnon in the U21's at least. No Marcus McGuanne anywhere u less he's in the U21's but that would be a surprise.

Oxford also joining Davies and TAA in the under-21s? Jay Dasilva is injured, by the way.

EDIT: Wait, no. Apparently Oxford's injured.

National League North Goalkeeper called up? Is that a first for this level? Got to be honest, never heard of the kid.

I'm familiar with the name from previous squads and Transfermarkt says he got a couple of U19 caps last season.

He's a Boro player down in that division on loan loan though, if it was a player who had been developed by a club at that level it would be something for the England scouts to find him if nothing else.

Nathan Baxter is a 98 playing a level higher for Woking and is definitely good enough for a call-up, dunno why he's never had one.

I would not be surprised if this is broadcast on Polish TV somewhere. Will search for a link and post in here if I find one.

We’ve ended up with a sending off. 0-0 with about 10 mins left.

England down to 10 men for the final ten minutes. Presumably a 2nd yellow. I believe a draw would hand the Elite League title to Germany. 9 months of hurt, never stopped me dreaming.

Anyone else noticed Lukas Nmecha missing from the Squad list or have I missed something? Hadn't noticed he had been withdrawn or anything. Hepburn-Murphy must have been a late call up also.

Nmecha is marked as withdrawn through injury on the FA website.

Ok, thanks. I hadn't seen any notifications with any Squad changes and a part of me was unsure of the reason due to his brother seemingly choosing to play for Germany instead of England.
