Yeah. I would rather lose these games dominating than win games with the wrong approach. Approach was correct today but application poor in areas. Maybe because quite a few of these options aren't starting enough games. They seemed to need 10 mins to settle to the pace of a game.
It seems an age since Callum Gribbin was playing, but he's back on the bench for Man U's u23s tonight. Let's hope for his sake he's ready to get his finger out and start looking like he wants to get somewhere.
Anyone seen much of Reading's Omar Richards? He's getting good write-ups for his first few senior appearances. Left-back, born in '98.
Incidentally, Tayo Edun made his first league start for Fulham yesterday. I didn't see the game but he seems to have done well.
Came through at Fulham, went to Reading at 16 I think after being released. Not an expert by any means but he's grown a lot physically in those years since joining Reading, he's dependable, hard-working, has a good attitude too.
Wasn't the intention, it's often those players who creep up unnoticed and end up having very respectable careers. He's worked his way into the Reading team a little bit, there's a player in there for sure, I'm just uncertain whether or not he has something in his game that makes him stand out from the pack.
http://www.football.london/tottenha...rcus-edwards-truth-behind-pochettino-13999084 I guess the Spurs fans on here have maybe more inside information but it would appear or at least get the impression that the reason Edwards isn't getting a look in for the senior Spurs squad is maybe due to his work rate off the ball and maybe attitude problems which I've seen branded about quite a bit.
Reece Oxford has started Gladbach's last two games and there have been 'exploratory' talks about a permanent deal.
Moyes has been quoted saying he intends to bring him back and work with him at West Ham. Perhaps a small bidding war between German clubs reminded them they have a decent player on their hands there.
Can't see that given some of the players who aren't getting games there. Leeds have been linked, a move to a promotion contender makes more sense.
I was basing it on what Puel said and there are not many who play like him in the squad. Pretty sure he will play in the Cup at the weekend. http://www.leicestermercury.co.uk/s...-news/leicester-citys-wes-morgan-could-997338
1998 born Elliot Simmons is a new kid on the block and really starting to emerge from the shadows. He was released by MK Dons at 16 as deemed "too small" but has shot up from 5ft 2 to 6ft in the past three years. With his dual nationality he has been called up by Canada U20 twice in 2017 and capped 5x by England U18 ECFA Schoolboys in 2016. He has spent the past 18 months developing in Spain and Sweden, recently signing a 2.5 year professional contract with Swedish Top Tier Allsvenskan side Dalkurd FF who play a very slick possession based game. Simmons has just signed a 9 month first team loan deal with Mikkelin Palloilijat in Finland who also have a possession based philosophy. He might just surprise a few people this year with his composed, hardworking technical and intelligent style of play. http://www.mikkelinpalloilijat.fi/index.php?id=1&pg=5&ui=5943
This post is the bigsoccer equivalent of looking a gift horse in the mouth, concluding it's quite a nice horse and then telling the original owner they should keep it.
Apparently Kienan Davies is being linked with a move to Brighton. Tbh, I hope he stays at Villa to continue his learning program, not sure how much game time he will have at Brighton initially if he would move but at Villa he's already playing. http://www.hitc.com/en-gb/2018/01/0...lanning-3m-bid-for-aston-villa-striker-keina/
