The line up, interesting to see Hinds there who wasn't named in the original squad unless I'm mistaken
Sounds like a very bright lad. I wonder if the the example of his Italian mother* made moving abroad seem like a less intimidating prospect. *Bit of trivia: his full first name is Daniele.
I'm not knocking Bennetts or anything and if he plays tonight in the league Cup then good luck to him but how can he be deemed ready but Edwards not? Find it wierd that poch thinks he's not ready when from what Ives seen, he needs that step up. http://www.footballinsider247.com/b...st-suggests-rising-star-will-play-v-barnsley/
He apparently said he's not ready physically, but then he would have said the same thing about Messi at 18. Wouldn't like him to bulk up and lose agility, needs to go abroad

I note Callum Brittain from MK Dons is in, if you'd been following my exciting young English minutes posts - he's started the last 5 games which is good.
Harvey Barnes is a 97 born too. Isn't really an age cap on this group because the games are friendlies.
The Elite League has a 97+ restriction on it. I believe they'll all be eligible until the end of the tournament in March.
A shame they didn't do this with the last U20 squad, perhaps that could have kept David Brooks in the loop. It would be nice if they found a bone to throw to Dan Crowley as well.
Had a mini fall out with the coach when they went down to 10 in one of the early games and he had to be subbed after like 15 minutes. Barely played since then. They're really struggling though, keep getting battered.
Downing has added striker Ike Ugbo to his squad for the games. The Chelsea striker, currently on loan at Barnsley, replaces the injured Keinan Davis in the squad whilst Leeds United's Ronaldo Vieira has also withdrawn through injury.
