It's been better in the last 20 minutes, to be fair. Not sure who scored for us, but Tousart should clearly have been sent off for France just now.
I guess there's not much we can do about it. People will think we're making a big deal out of it to get that player suspended.
a robbery in all honesty, but the changes did make a difference. this team badly needs at least one playmaker though

4231 with Ledson and Cook as the two, Onomah as the 10 between Roberts and Brown behind Solanke, but Brown and Roberts were more wide playmakers with Onomah a third CM than Onomah truly pulling the strings.
Central midfielders are never properly utilized throughout the age groups. The coaches always seem to prefer Henderson types. The fact that Hughes for example spends most of his time on the bench for the U21s is baffling.
That's true of the final, but prior to that Armstrong had started every game behind Solanke apart from the dead-rubber group game against the Netherlands, before he picked up an injury midway through the semis. Onomah and Cook had been alternating for the midfield spot alongside Ledson. The details are here.
Exactly. the u17 coach seems different though, maybe bc he only have gifted central midfielders at disposal
More football for our #YoungLions as the U20s take on Senegal to conclude their 4️⃣Nations tournament in France. Here's how they line up: pic.twitter.com/t5Yu17WqNb— England (@England) March 28, 2017
2–0 currently. Calvert-Lewin on 6 minutes and Solanke on 18. I think we've got about half an hour to go.
And it's finished 2–0, so we've won the tournament. Senegal lost to France and beat Portugal, so they've finished on 3 points. We're on 7. Portugal and France are playing later today, but they're on 1 and 3 points respectively, so neither one can catch us. Shame that we didn't hold on against Portugal and have a perfect set of results, but still. Can't complain!
Good momentum going into the World Cup. For the last two years this group has had a knack for scoring a couple early goals and then not scoring again in games. We did it in a elite round game in the U19s and then twice against France and Croatia in the U19 Euros. Now this past week against Portugal and Senegal.
Good goal by the forgotten man Dan Crowley Here's Dan Crowley's goal, comfortably been GA Eagles' best player tonight https://t.co/dDTwoHk6nJ— 🍉 (@Flaminiesta) April 8, 2017
Was again superb yesterday. Always Looks the best player on the pitch. Still find it hilarious that he wasn't kept by Oxford. He's very good.
