Much much better in that second half, much more purpose and creativity about our play. Some really good goals too.
I've just been to the same page that ADM99 posted the link from... https://www.laola1.tv/de-int/livestream/england-u19-bosnien-herzegowina-u19-lde Anyone know whether you need a VPN again?
Man City duo THB & skipper Doyle starting all three qualifiers. Saka not on the bench according to the UEFA site, might have been sent back to Arsenal early given he actually plays regularly at club level.
Not a great pitch. Anjorin gives England the lead. Laird makes it 2-0. Heh, Bosnia down to 10 men for two yellow cards in the first half.
Two of the most bizarre refereeing decisions I've seen for a while in this game. 1. Bosnian player is getting treatment so England players are on the sideline getting drinks/instructions while they wait. Suddenly, Bosnia take a quick free-kick while our team is off the pitch and everyone has to sprint back at full speed while they're running up the field. Referee never blew his whistle yet allowed it to happen. 2. Ref blows his whistle to allow Doyle to take a corner, then Laird is hauled down in the box. Referee proceeds to blow his whistle, yellow card the Bosnian defender but NOT give a penalty.
I thought it was Laird that was carded at first for the incident in Bosnia’s penalty area. Bosnia are being very physical in the 1v1’s. Hoping for no more injuries.
We've been drawn in a group with Italy, Austria & Serbia for the new 'Nations League style' 2020-22 European Championships.
Our Elite Round draw for the 2020 EURO is Ukraine, Denmark & Latvia *Should* be fairly straight forward.
You're obsessed with moving people up haha We'll be better off getting Balogun back involved. On the subject, John-Jules just got a L1 loan, which is a bit out the norm.
Not bad, you can let TJJ go on loan and can still have this & start introducing Greenwood more for the 23s. That footwork tho... 💥@FBalogun67 👏 pic.twitter.com/ID9E7Ms3NM— Arsenal Academy (@ArsenalAcademy) January 7, 2020
I do get a bit carried away - Gelhardt is still yet to start for Wigan after all. I suppose I'm a keen that Bellingham, Elliott and Gelhardt don't view England meet ups as a massive step down in quality.
Jack Nolan to Walsall is a bit surprising from Reading to release him given he is still only 18, but maybe is good for the player.
