Honestly any journalist who has/wants to write a story on pieces like that should just come here and get information.

I don't think it's the ankle that's the problem. He had a second knee op and has been ruled out for the rest of the season.

    Brewster is back now.

Klopp was just honest when asked about him and said he's not realistically in first team consideration till pre-season. For health reasons so not to rush him back, but then even if he was healthy, there's probably no minutes there for him with every Liverpool game from here on out being so important.

Smith Rowe is likely out until April. Wonder if this is an opportunity for Jack Clarke (if he makes his comeback this weekend.) Even more chance of it happening if Hudson Odoi gets called up to the U21s.

I think Clarke's call-up is probably only dependent on his own fitness. At least, I'd hope so - he's been well worth the place.

He has. Hoping Skipp has done enough for a call up too.

Danny Loader supposedly came off the bench to replace Ejaria in midfield over the weekend and put his best performance in for the first team.

It's not easy for him in a struggling team playing against Leeds as the main CF but the Reading fans are ripping into him on twitter as not ready for the Championship tonight.

Will he ever be a main CF ? It's a tough one. Probably is better off the main CF at the moment.

So still no Oliver Skipp in any of the squads. That’s just mental but having said that, it’s still a very strong squad.

No place for Jack Clarke. Even promoted Appiah up a year instead.

Guess they don't rate him, would've thought he's done more than Gallagher this season...

I don’t think Jack Clarke has played since he had that illness on the bench has he?

Agree about Skipp, not really sure why they continue to leave him out. It’s always the same with nearly every age group where there seems to be some questionable picks despite the squads still being strong.

Correct, Clarke hasn't played since his illness. He is a doubt for Saturday.

Yes, but he's still a doubt for the first team. Leeds U23's will have a game today, maybe he will play again for them.

Absolute madness. Is he eligible for another nation? Id be worried about losing him at this point. Hes become an established member if a prem squad and has played. Gallagher is nowhere near that achievement

All I wanted to say about Clarke is he still hasn't played for the first team. But we know Clarke is on the radar of the FA, even Boothroyd watched him, so likely he is not ready after his illness. This is a different situation than Skipp's, which is totally inexplicable.

I might suggest that if Gallagher was at Tottenham he'd have had first team minutes by now, it's a bit crap he hasn't at Chelsea. He's been the U23s best player this season and warrants a place in the squad whether Skipp is there or not.
