Mengi has been getting some rave reviews for United recently. Looking the complete centre back at youth level. Surprised my Lisa Stansfield joke killed this thread for so long. I thought it was great.
Some rumours that Dembele is having issues at Celtic, might be looking to leave. He’s been nowhere to be seen since getting a few minutes in Celtics first game of the season.
Musah got 70 minutes for Valencia tonight. Started 3 of their games and came on as sub in one. Think he’s holding his own without setting the world alight. Great experience for the 17 year old in a top 2 league in Europe.
^that's the U20 squad. This is the U18 squad: Goalkeepers: Matthew Cox (AFC Wimbledon), Hubert Graczyk (Arsenal), Teddy Sharman-Lowe (Chelsea, on loan at Burton Albion) Defenders: Jamal Baptiste (West Ham United), Finley Burns (Manchester City), Conrad Egan-Riley (Manchester City), Bashir Humphreys (Chelsea), Daniel Oyegoke (Arsenal), Jarell Quansah (Liverpool), Sebastien Revan (Aston Villa), Imari-Narain Samuels (Reading) Midfielders: James Balagizi (Liverpool), Carney Chukwumeka (Aston Villa), Omari Giraud-Hutchinson (Arsenal), Nile John (Tottenham Hotspur), Charlie Patino (Arsenal), Aaron Ramsey (Aston Villa), Harvey Vale (Chelsea) Forwards: Louie Barry (Aston Villa), Liam Delap (Manchester City), Karamoko Dembele (Celtic), Samuel Edozie (Manchester City), Joseph Hugill (Manchester United)
There must be something going on with Dembele at Celtic. He’s disappeared from the Celtic squad since the opening day when they have 9 on the bench and can make 5 subs! If he’s coming to England for the 18s he can’t be injured. He’s surely good enough to get minutes in such a weak league when he team is so much better than most opponents.
White 1. Graczyk 2. Oyegoke 3. Revan 4. Ramsey 5. Baptiste 6. Quansah 7. Hutchinson 8. John 9. Delap 10. Vale 11. Chukwuemeka Blue 1. Cox 2. Samuels 3. Burns 4. Humphreys 5. Egan-Riley 6. Patino 7. Dembele 8. Balagizi 9. Barry 10. Hugill 11. Edozie
FA website said that Ramsey & Chukwuemeka withdrew & were replaced by Mbete-Tabu & Xavier Simons but obviously that didn't happen.
Chukwuemeka shared a video on Insta with him scoring but then also added a story that he'd scored for Villa's first team in a friendly against Coventry. Dunno what order those games happened in.
Harvey Elliott just scored this goal for England. 🔥 pic.twitter.com/WyHLhhMQcy— Watch LFC (@Watch_LFC) October 10, 2020 Assuming this was from the U18 game.
Harvey Elliott agreed to move to Blackburn on loan - clubs working on deal before 5pm deadline. https://t.co/V7BZbFcaZo— paul joyce (@_pauljoyce) October 16, 2020 On the subject of Elliott, he's going out on loan to Blackburn. Very early move for him but probably a good one seeing as first-team opportunities would've been limited.
