Think he is only the 4th 17 year-old to score for Forest since the 50s at least.

Neil Dewsnip has been to watch him a few times and obviously 11 Premier League teams had representatives to watch him in FA Youth Cup.

Come a long way in 2 years after being released by Stoke.

Another encouraging performance by Mason Mount the other night against a stubborn Leicester side, in the Youth Cup. He looks ready to me for a loan spell, starting the beginning of next season. (They face the winners of Newcastle and Spurs next, in the semi final.)

He wasn't in last squad, but Ben Morris has gone on loan to Woking for some senior football, made his debut as a sub on Saturday.

I'm assuming Ben Brereton is in the U19's?

Any reason for Mount to be absent, or might he have shifted up a group too?

Edward Nketiah, the Arsenal striker, gets his first call up. No call up for his old "colleague" from his Chelsea days, Crossdale.

A step up would certainly be justified.

Quite surprised Ed Francis can't get in this squad, really been quite impressed from what I've seen of him at City

Is he any good Joe? Got to be honest, I don't know much about him.

He always stands out in Cat 2 games, and has played a bit for the 23s recently. Played for 1st team in pre season at Cambridge and didn't look at all out of place.

Great engine, player I'd say he is most like from Ipswich history is Keiron Dyer when he broke through - gets everywhere and good on the ball. Left footed and can play all over.

I heard from a good source that Mick McCarthy stood him up in front of whole first team squad when he returned from injury and told them all that he was his 'diamond', and he'll be getting chances before end of season.

I haven't seen him much against better opposition to know how he looks there though.

Not sure what Dinzeyi was doing in the squad in the first place, never looked international quality tbh.
