It's Okoflex for sure. This club is ‘supposed’ to be ‘Irish’ yet when they sign a Dublin-born Ireland U16 international & former DDSL player they refer to him as an England U16s player 🤔 As FIFA rules go I don’t see how he’s eligible for England anyway https://t.co/ZWYOxbtZTM— Stephen Finn (@FutsalFinn) September 2, 2018
Apparently travels on an Italian passport, so could be interesting in future anyway. But looks to have been cleared up now, as to who the player is
It's worth saying, by the way, that Stephen Finn clearly hasn't understood the eligibility criteria/Home Nations Agreement judging by the rest of that thread. Whether Okoflex is or isn't eligible, I'm not sure, but I wouldn't take Finn's word for it either way.
Zak Brown hitting his stride for ITFC U18s - 5 goals in his 2 starts this season (2 @ Burnley and 3 @ Charlton)
Squad announced, no Sarimento or Bondswell Alexander Mighten (Nottingham Forest), Armstrong Oko-Flex (Celtic), Ben Knight (Manchester City), Dennis Cirkin (Tottenham Hotspur), Fabio Carvalho (Fulham), Haydon Roberts (Brighton & Hove Albion), Harvey Elliott (Fulham), James Trafford (Manchester City), Jensen Weir (Wigan Athletic), Joseph Gelhardt (Wigan Athletic), Joseph Hodge (Manchester City), Louis Moulden (Manchester City), Miguel Azeez (Arsenal), Morgan Rogers (West Bromwich Albion), Nathan Wood-Gordon (Middlesbrough), Sam Greenwood (Arsenal), Serrine Sanneh (West Ham United)*, Taylor Harwood-Bellis (Manchester City), Teden Mengi (Manchester United), Valentino Livramento (Chelsea), Yunus Musah (Arsenal)
What's happened to McAtee? Is he unavailable or has he just not progressed as the hype suggested he might?
I’m sure I saw somewhere, maybe on Twitter that he has already scored 30 goals already this season , so it seems he’s progressing nicely
He's in and around the City U18s, so he must be doing alright. Not sure what he's like physically at the minute. Fiorini is pretty physically advanced already. Things can change quickly at this age though. Looking forward to seeing Ritchie-Hosler in their U18s at some point too. The depth of talent coming through at City is pretty ridiculous, really is like Chelsea. Will filter down the leagues loads, cause they seem to be cutting lads more ruthlessly now too rather than letting them hang around. Elliot (Chelsea), McCann, Garcia, Hoare, Pendlebury, Madueke, Walcott, Dorsett, Osorio, Sarmiento, Bondswell, Fiorini, Cole Palmer, Pennant, Matt Dennis, Sam Bellis, Brookwell (Liverpool, who I saw was on trial *?* for Newcastle the other day), Zak Brown, Smales-Braithwaite, Simeu, Dejan Tetek (did he move to Brighton?) all other names worth keeping an eye on. There's so many skilled midfielders/attackers. Could probably do with some more big centre halves though.
Brookwell wasn't at Newcastle, or at least he wasn't in the actual team they played that day. The team sheet had him in Newcastle's squad but you have to think it was just a mistake, even if it was a weird one. Tetek is still at Reading for now, been on their U18 bench a lot this season.
Louie Barry has made his first steps into U18 football in the last months. West Brom are becoming a factory of attackers. He may be a 2004, but there was a Premier League U15s tournament played this weekend which Man City won. Kian Breckin was the play of the tournament. His dad is Ian Breckin (former Forest, Wigan, Chesterfield defender). They beat Arsenal in the final.
Chelsea hosted that tournament and did alright, might've competed for honours better had two of their best players not been out injured.
Joe Hodge had an excellent game against Liverpool’s U18s the other day. Disciplined off the ball and crisp in possession, real determination in his play too
Fiorini in the latest Scotland U17 squad for their qualifying round, I think this will be is his first official game tying him to Scotland for the foreseeable future unless he ends up making a one time switch back at some point. Hope we don’t come to regret this one. Actually it seems like most of the England-based players are England-born. McAvoy is, Patterson is, Anderson might be. No idea if they're England-standard though.
Speaking of which... 🎆Harvey Elliott cracked in the cleanest of volleys to give our Under-23s a #PLCup win over @BCFC📺: https://t.co/Vpn57Ywj7e #FFCU23 pic.twitter.com/cotGkQKZZ3— Fulham Football Club (@FulhamFC) October 10, 2018
