Have the FA now decided we're not privileged to know the U17 squad lists anymore? What next, no squad lists up to U21's? Nothing will surprise me anymore with our FA.

Think they only do it for competitive matches, not friendlies, which is crap but predictable.

Which means we won't see a official squad list until next Summer which is just crap. Thank god for guys like yourself and others here that are great at finding out the info the FA want to hide from us.

Looks like 23-man squad as Perry has that shirt number ? Doubt there is more than that ?

    3 Mumba
    4 Saka
    10 Johnson
    11 Mola
    15 Whittaker
    18 Appiah
    23 Perry

Ashby-Hammond, Asare, Ogbeta, Alese, Solanke, Clarke, Doyle, Anjorin, Hilton, Nolan, W-Phillips, Broughton, Duncan, Tulloch, Cashman

That is 22. Possibly 1 of the above not there for 2 keepers to come in. Or there are only 2 keepers to make 23.

So based on that detective work, no Curtis Jones or any of the rest of the Liverpool contingent who were around this age group last season in the current squad?

It seems like it. Curtis Jones is definitely not there. I wonder if there is a WC call-up for him because we know he is fit ?

Besides Jones & possibly his Liverpool team mate Longstaff the Arsenal duo of Xavier Amaechi & Trae Coyle seem to be injured who would definitely be there.

Like Nolan and Broughton a first-time England call-up for Louie Sibley of Derby. Remember him from the u15 camps.

Yes, I'd been wondering if Jones was being omitted with the World Cup in mind. Let's hope that is the case.

Jones is fit, as is Longstaff
Jones and Longstaff are definitely fit. Both starting for Steven Gerrard's U18 team today:

Typical of Liverpool - they have acted this way in the past so it isn't a surprise.

    Was thinking the same.
Rossiter, A.Phillips have been most recent examples at u16 and u17 level.

Although Ejaria and Ojo have been released but that was before recent times in early age groups ?

Would imagine they set up like this vs Turkey

    Searden
    Binks Mola Saka Mumba
    Broughton (c) Nolan
    Johnson
    Appiah Tulloch Whittaker

And today vs Scotland will be if they give the other 11 players a start ?

    Ashby-Hammond
    Clarke Crowe Sibley Kpohmouh
    Perry Doyle (c)
    Hilton
    Cashman Duncan W-Phillips

Gerrard seems even more results driven perhaps than most youth coaches. Presumably he'll be thinking the better his u18s do the stronger his claims to be first team coach will be.
