Rumours circulating he’ll get Ibra and Matic in to get control of things on and off the pitch !?!

Can’t see Ibra pairing Kane though ??

I think Dier has been shown to be simply too slow for today’s game ..
he turns like a battleship and gets caught in possession too often- he switches off basically

Apparently in some betting outlets he’s already targeting to sign Zlatan, Bale, Matic and Fellaini, lol. Can’t see it but it would be hilarious if he did.

Seeing as most of the games are at Wembley this is our best chance of winning a tournament since 96

You're joking but I've heard very good things about Terry as a coach tbh.

Sessegnon might have a chance. He's an incredible athlete and Mourinho loves those, plus he does have some Premier League experience.

Less confident about Winks. Not obviously a Mourinho player, is he? Whereas Ndombele, Sissoko, and possibly Dier are more in his usual mould.

Any idea when Loftus-Cheek is likely to back?

I’d assume he’d be a great coach given he was a magnificent player

So was Bryan Robson. So was Gazza, for that matter.

    I guess I should have said great leader/captain ..

I’ve always felt that captain / CBs could make good coaches / managers as they hold everythhh together , see and hear everything going on and have to be 100% focused all the time

If I’m honest, I can’t even be bothered to even look considering draws these days are such a farce and tedious affair! Sorry to say I’m a little old school in this regard and can’t be bothered with the over complicated set up of who can’t play who and who has to be in that group etc, even before the draw has been made.

The whole thing is mickey mouse.
Its harder to not qualify . Even Bulgaria and Scotland are still in the running.
Then we get into the tournie itself and teams with 2 points will get through in 3rd place spots.

The Scots are already losing their minds and salivating at the thought of getting into a group with us. To be honest, I can't be bothered with that whole braveheart thing so I won't be wanting Scotland to win their play offs (not that they will because they're not good enough to beat Serbia or Norway)

Ideally, I wouldn’t want to draw either France or Portugal.

I like the idea of a big side in the group

an early test, 3 shit teams means you can get complacent

If Alli does kick on and improve under Mourinho, I'd have him back in, but as a CHO replacement. Feel like given he is very much a goalscorer and someone who affects the game the most in the penalty area, at his best, he'd offer a lot more than CHO can atm even if he isn't a conventional wide player. I don't want him in as a midfielder however regardless of form as we need players who are much more involved in the game as a whole for that role, players that can pull the strings and/or be box to box, which Alli isn't.
