So where can we see footage of the prodigy? A quick You Tube search produced nothing...

He plays for the FCD U16 USSDA academy team....I saw him play about 6 weeks ago in his first appearance for them. He came in with about 15 minutes to go, sombrero'd one guy and dribbled straight through another guy. Oh yeah, he's 13

I'll get some video of him next time he plays for FCD Juniors.

My son plays for DTexans and we used to watch this kid play 2-3 times a month at Classic League, when Emerson was with DT 96. Now that he's with FCD Juniors, we never know when they're playing. How often do they play and in what league?

I miss watching him and also the other DTexans player from Emerson's old team, Eric Chapa (00 with the corn rolls). Any news on how Eric's doing?
He's also one to keep our eyes on.

Chapa and Cisco are both on FCD Jr Pre-Academy. they're in the 95 D1. Cisco has had a cup of coffee with the FCD U16/15 but Chapa has not made his debut yet.

The U16 juniors schedule can be seen here

Their next league game isn't until March, but there might be other games and Dallas Cup coming up.

for ives to call someone a flat out prodigy is very high praise.

He may be the only kid that young I ever keep an eye on.

LOL are you serious? I guarantee you Ives has never seen this kid play. I mean it's not that he isn't a prodigy but the fact that Ives says it should mean nothing because he's simply regurgitating what he's read and hear from other people.

Ives and a judge of soccer talent are two mutually exclusive things.

The guy will post pretty much any info he gets. Thankfully he gets some of it right.

Bob should call him into camp for the 24th and Cap him in the 90th minute. We could then tailor him for a start vs. England.:D

Ives = the same guy who reported Onyewu to Chelsea a year after the rumor was reported. I will give him credit though. The first real hard piece he has really done since becoming a blogger was that Charlie Davies work. Now that was really good work from him.

It was just a Q and A and someone asked his opinion as to who he thought would be the next LD. He could not answer at all or give an opinion. FWIW Hyndman is as a good an answer as any. Emerson's career is being professionally managed so you never know.

If he's as good as advertised for his age, he can do a lot better than Newcastle.
