Bournemouth didn't put out a roster for today's U21 match, but he's obviously on the pitch now: 50' Emerson Hyndman is allowed space in the box to get his strike away, but @itsowenn does well to save. (1-1) #wafc— Wigan Athletic (@LaticsOfficial) September 12, 2017
The only other mention I can find: 50' Hyndman arriscou de longe e Evans defendeu— Bournemouth Brasil 🇧🇷🍒 (@afcbbrasil) September 12, 2017 Translation: 50' Hyndman with a rising shot from long range is saved by Evans.
Should I be surprised to find the account for a Brazilian-based fan club of a South Coast team on the verge of extinction less than a decade ago has over 10,000 tweets mostly in Portuguese?
If you guys seriously think that then this place is more messed up than I thought. I'm all about not moving from a spot if my team starts doing well, but thread titles? C'mon, we are not that important.
Thats back to back games where he went 90', So he's getting match fit...and ready for Friday's battle vs Brighton.
Not in the 18. 📋 Three changes for the Cherries as we prepare for our 8pm @premierleague kick-off with @OfficialBHAFC.#afcb 🍒 pic.twitter.com/LCGNB5bYwy— AFC Bournemouth 🍒 (@afcbournemouth) September 15, 2017
Uggghhhh!!! Lewis Cook (captained England's U20 WC champ team) is still on the bench as well. He's a year younger than Emerson. He needs to be shining during the reserves AND an injury to Surman/Arter/Cook.
My understanding is that Cook is much more defensive minded than Emo so maybe not direct competition. Cherries sure need something to shake loose in midfield, whether it is Emo, Cook, or someone else.
He was always a long shot to establish himself in the BPL with the amount of money available to teams in that league
On the bench. 🚨 It's team news time!9⃣ changes for tonight's clash with @OfficialBHAFC. #afcb 🍒 pic.twitter.com/AtUX4qFKFG— AFC Bournemouth 🍒 (@afcbournemouth) September 19, 2017 And a quick reaction: Interesting team! Hyndman not starting though...might as well just stick him on loan if he's not going to play when fit— Will Partridge (@AFCBWILL) September 19, 2017
Not Bournemout-aware enough. Who is Hyndman's main competition in the starting squad? Who has to get hurt/suspended for him to get some decent minutes? (I don't care about starting, but EPL minutes would be good this fall.)
A final change for the Cherries... ⬅ Fraser ➡ Hyndman #BOUBHA 🍒 1-0 🔵⚪ (116) pic.twitter.com/iWPPYXf68r— AFC Bournemouth 🍒 (@afcbournemouth) September 19, 2017
He played five minutes but is not mentioned in any of the play-by-plays. So I guess he barely saw the ball.
Brutal, kid cannot sniff a match. This is what happens when you're a young fringe player and you're injured for back-to-back preseasons.
