Emo, Bourne for a kick at the cherries Hyndman: back for another kick at the cherries Emerson Hyndman: Bourne with a golden boot in his mouth. None of the above are any good, which means I'm improving...
Jinxes aren't real. Y'all are some childish, superstitious MFers. How you sit in your chair at home doesn't affect the players thousands of miles away.
This Holden PBP thread has maybe 100+ puns. Just sayin'. It's also where my crusade started. Up until that point I silently tolerated it in the thread titles.
Why, it seems like just last year that Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Dortmund and Barcelona were all chasing this kid. I read it on the Internet! What happened?
That thread was brilliant and one of the wild wonderful things that drew me to BS and YA in particular. You can argue whether my joining is a good thing or not, but a little part dies in me when I see plain vanilla thread titles. Just as I'd rather die while I'm living than live while I'm dead, I would rather risk jinxing a player than live out a drab uncreative existence. Any way, forgive my Emo-tional outburst. Do what you will, my Hyndman won't be busted by pun titles nor naysayers nor superstitious win-at-all-cost traditionalists who tie their boots the same way each time and ruin the pun for everyone else.
I can tolerate puns in thread titles, but threads degenerating into pun-posts by the dozen are ruinous.
Sounds promising.. http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/15505823.Howe_happy_to_see_Hyndman_return/ Boss Eddie Howe expressed his delight at seeing Emerson Hyndman back in action following a “difficult” injury. The American midfielder recovered from the stress fracture to his foot sustained at the end of his loan spell with Rangers. Having played in a development game for Cherries under-21s against Brentford on his return, Hyndman was named in the first-team squad for the Carabao Cup win at Birmingham. A day later, he scored for the under-21s in a 4-1 win over Exeter City. Asked about the former Fulham man, Howe told the Daily Echo: “It is really nice to see Emerson back. We have had to treat his injury very carefully. “It was a difficult one to manage during pre-season, where he would train and just suffer a reaction. “It looks like now he is over that and, in the couple of games he has had, he has done very well, so I am looking to see more of him in the next few weeks."
Love Hyndmans game. Silky smooth passer, great instincts, nose for goal, with a spectacular shot. Some weaknesses, defensively just meh, athletically limited against higher competition. Not to curse the kid, but for some reason he always feels like someone who could have been...but for injuries or bad timing. Hope I am wrong. Still I feel like he is a future USMNT coach say in like 20 years. Shit that is depressing I will be old.
Starts for the U21s: Under-21s XI: Holmes, Seaman, Hobson, Simpson, Cordner, O'Connell, Hyndman, Taylor, Mahoney, Kilkenny, Ndjoli.#afcb 🍒— AFC Bournemouth 🍒 (@afcbournemouth) September 6, 2017
went 90 today for the U21's, they lost 1-0. No mention of him outside of him making other players cry.... thataway Emo!
my prediction, he's in the 18 this weekend and comes in at the 89' to a nice applause. it's happening gifs shut down bigsoccer servers momentarily.
Could you please - please - stop this. All these puns do is gin up arguments. It's enough to drive a man to drink. [Thinks] Drive a man to drink? Have at it bro', have at it!
Arsenal feasts on the mid table. That said, Bournemouth could use a spark. Did not show much on offense, except for one Defoe moment, and was under pressure most of, if not all of the game.
Bournemouth has five U21 registered as league players (i.e., main team). They are: Lewis Cook - midfielder, 20. Played six league games last season, started in five, went 90 in three. Bad ankle injury took him out most of last season. Contract to 2020. Connor Mahoney - midfielder, 20. Has yet to play in the league. Contract to 2021. Aaron Ramsdale - goalkeeper, 19. Has yet to play in the league. 3rd GK. Contract to 2021. Lys Mousset - forward, 21. Has played in 16 league games, including three appearances as a sub this season (all losses). Transfered in the summer of 2016, was regular scorer in Ligue 2 but has yet to score in the Premiership. Contract to 2020. Emerson Hyndman, who still has to play a league game. Contract to 2020.
