Emo is a baller. He'll get his Prem opportunity sooner or later and impress. Kid is too skilled not to. It's just injuries and his body maturing which has held him back but the club is quite high on him.

 

I'd almost prefer a loan somewhere on the continent.

Random article advocating for Millwall to bring Emerson in on loan. Don't think it is a terrible idea, though the Championship might break him just as he gets healthy again. Wouldn't mind seeing him in the pressure of a relegation fight, though.

 

I'm glad they gave him the u21 match - kid really needed game time after missing pretty much the entire preseason. Two horribly timed injuries have certainly delayed him making his Premier League debut but I see that coming sooner rather than later.

 

My guess is, unless he's told he won't get playing time at Bournemouth AND has no options on a top-tier (medium to major) league on the continent, he's going to be very uninterested in a Championship loan. He won't be able to establish himself there for NT purposes.

 

it's good to see him get through a game with no setbacks. Always a concern with foot injuries.
