For me taking out Fernandinho, Luiz Gustavo and RO and putting in Hulk, Lucas Lima and Jonas is throwing in the kitchen sink, any way you look at it, but what the hell, it worked!

Hulk is garbage for the NT in all honestly. It's like he does everything wrong.

como diria o Romario numa hora dessas: "Tamo ferrado, peixe!"

and there's seemingly no light at the end of the tunnel, we're stuck with this subpar generation for a while.

Not the first time, he failed. Why does he continue to get calls?

Because he scores a boatload of goals in Russia and against mediocre teams in the UCL. It's exactly how a bum like Luiz Adriano got called, except Hulk is better.

As I posted in another forum....Luan from Gremio is the only world class #9 Brazil has. Forget all the other bums: Hulk, Jonas, etc.

If I had to choose 1 our of Luan, Gabigol, and Gabriel Jesus to be a wonderkid and then average on senior level, its be Luan. I'm not expecting anything from him.

Fine. I know that between Gabriel Jesus and Luan you are not making an apples to apples comparison since they do not play the same position and because Gabriel Jesus is too young. Gabriel will be a player for the 2022 set up at the earliest.
As for Luan vs Gabigol, several points:
    a) Barcelona have first dibs on both. Barcelona scouts are among the best and they know talent.
b)Both are regular starters for their teams. If you look at their stats, Luan is better.
c)Both are leaving for europe soon. I hope Luan goes to Juventus as a replacement for Dybala.
d)If you can create a highlight reel for both, Luan comes out looking much better than Gabigol.

Luan is also 4 years older than Gabigoal.

Lets hope someone selects Luan or Gabigol, and lets leave it at that.
I'm watching el Classico and I like Casemiro--reminds me of Mauro Silva!

I think the problem with the CBF is stupidity not corruption. The FBI and the U.S. Justice Department are taking care of the corrupt in world football. One of my law school professors used to say: In any organization, men (Dunga?) are always promoted to their level of INCOMPETENCE.
