    Técnico: Tite

After winning important games vs Equador and Colombia, we have two theoretically easier games ahead. First up is Bolivia at home. The new faces initially were the returns of Fernandinho, Thiago Silva (who probably cried at the call up) and Oscar ... Firmino and newcomer Muralha. The club virus forced Marcelo, Casemiro and Douglas Costa (again) to be replaced with Wendell, Rafael Carioca, and Taison.

In his two first games in command of the Seleção, Tite played teams who had reasons to believe they could beat Brazil and therefore played forward. This time Tite will face teams that are expected to park the bus. I expect Tite to try and keep the same starting team as much as possible. In place of Casemiro I expect Fernandinho to start as he has been in good form at Man City and has been praised by Guardiola. Paulinho is suspended for the first game so Tite could go with Coutinho as Bolivia may not represent as much of a threat on offense. At LB it will probably be Filipe Luis. On defense is where Tite has a tough decision to make, does he start Thiago Silva or go with Marquinhos and Miranda who worked pretty well in the previous 2 games.

IIRC Paulinho isn't available. Read that Giuliano will most likely be his substitute.

I am worried that we have no Marcelo and Casemiro... hopefully the others will fill these important spots!

Theoretically speaking, we shouldn't need them to beat Bolivia and Venezuela.

Thanks!! I forgot Paulinho was suspended for the Bolivia game!! Although I would've tried Marquinhos in midfield, but Giuliano had a pretty good performance for Zenit in the Europa this past Thursday!!

Why is diego alves not on the team. Incredible penalty record, looks like a sounder keeper than Allison

I just read an interview on Globo with Tafarel and he said that he is still on the list of players they are looking at. But that doesn't really mean anything when guys like Weverton and Allisson are getting called constant.

Waverton is horrible as a keeper he has no on the ball skills his saving grace was the penalty he saved and his performance in the highest stage in the finals where people tend to choke I am not to sure he is a long term prospect.

Didn't the last time around we hosted Bolivia in a WCQ back in '09 we were held to a scoreless draw? I know Bolivia is going through some issues, but still we shouldn't kick them to the curb yet!!

Prevejo uns 3-0.

Lol long islands are the only drink I order when I go out and the only thing other than straight liquor I'll touch. But it was more of a reference to Josh Norman trolling the panthers this week.

Last time I had one was 2 years ago!! I'm more of a wine, sangria and rum person!! Hopefully Fernandinho's play won't drive us to have one!!!:p Though he be balling for Man City, sometimes when he put on our yellow jersey he makes you wonder 'how the hell he got called up?':D
