Taison coming in was to wast some time. With DC back I don't see Taison being called up.

Wtf he plays for Russia now?! lmaooo in all honesty, I'd rather we forget about him. There is something unsavory about guys who just switch teams like that.

Sad though because that RB spot's future is looking murky. Alves is old but I seriously think he'll be in Russia. Danilo is a question mark. Fabinho is ok. Fagner too. But I don't know if I could pick one to be 100% starter in Russia.

I never watch him before except a couple vids but I hear good thing about Bruno Peres. Zeca is also a possiblity. I would say Fabinho also but it looks like he plays midfield now.

Nah, man. We need Danilo to get his act together. He was playing very well in that short period he was selected.

He had a rough year last year but he was actually pretty solid in the CL final. And then got surgery on an ankle issue that was bothering him since 2015. From what I've seen so far from the friendlies, he was decent. And now with more games upcoming this week, he'll get more game time that will hopefully get him better.

Finally a pleasure watching our NT.
Increadible what a change in coach can do.
Neymar's game is maturing on a daily basis, once again MOM. Could have had two goals if Coutinho hadn't been such a hog that play. But Coutinho really needs to start, he adds so much speed and creativity to our team.
Would love to see Lucas Lima given a chance.
Guys are playing with much more heart; love the way forwards are dropping to defend and steal balls.

It's been a LONG while since I last watched him , but when he was back at Santos I used to call him "Burro Peres", pois não pode cruzar :whistling:

    Dunno if he improved.

Anyways, I welcome those 6 points with open arms and a lot more confident that we are in the right path.

1st half he had a nice play in the middle passing through 2 players and putting a great ball to Alves on the right basically in the box. Then the pass to RA coming into the middle. He was also wide open on a play where Paulinho for whatever reason, at the top of the box, didn't pass the ball to him. His defensive work rate for a winger is unparalleled. When he was on the wing, the ball didn't get to him in good situations. It's probably Alves and Paulinho's job to setup him up.

    Maia is too young.

I rather have him sit on the bench then play on the pitch for now. Or just collect a bit more experience and age. Then come back when he is more seasoned and not a kid.

In the 2nd half Tite told Willian to stay mostly pinned on the right wing and told Neymar to float more. From the post game press conference it sounds like Willian is in his plans as a starter.

He also said he was really impressed by Casemiro's performance. @Guigs

I really don't like when Neymar has to drop so deep that he has to beat 2-3 players to make something happen. I rather Tite find a way for the team create game situations where Neymar has a clear chance or has to beat 1 player to make something happen.

As André Rocha said, Tite put the players in the positions they play at in their clubs - Neymar on the left. Why was doing this so difficult before?

Glad to see a 2nd consecutive win. Winning vs. Bolivia and at Venezuela is absolutely feasible and realistic. And I believe we will do it.

Yep. Coutinho wouldn't be in his natural position if he became a starter though.

Coutinho plays mostly wide at Liverpool but he isn't restricted there.

Typically he drifts to the left though, not right.

This goes back to the point about I made about the midfield. The setup has to be better. It's lacking creativity. I don't want it to tiki taka but functional enough that our front three are getting the ball in better positions closer to goal
