    Técnico: Tite

New coach, new hope. This will definitely be a tough first test for Tite. We played them in CA Centenario and were saved by a bad ref decision. They should be tougher at home. We need at least a tie to not start falling too far back in the standings. Some questionable call ups were given a pass by the media based on Tite's recent club record. Had it been Dunga the shack would have fallen. :ROFLMAO:

Eyes will also be on Tite's choice for captain. My guess would be D. Alves based on experience.

    Vamos ganhar ! Sem mimimi.

Pass in the media? He got ripped pretty hard, although I do agree that if it were Dunga, it would have been worse. Most fans went in hard on Tite about the call up as well.

It wouldn't surprise me if RA gets the armband...

I thought criticism was pretty tame to be honest, but I am sure the knives are ready.

Neymar and 2 teenage flavors of the month that will fall off the face of the earth a couple months after they leave. It's sad to see how watered down the Selecao has become.

I know it's not always the case, but the numbering can give you a good idea of who might start....

4 out of 6 points would be ideal for the next two games but this game is a question mark for me. Altitude + some of the players on this team is I don't know.

Hopefully that'd be only for this game. These 3 volantes in the mid going to suck.

Wow, at altitude in Quito where we've never won and in the humid jungle of the Amazon vs Colombia next Tuesday!! Both games will drain our players and I wouldn't be surprised if both games end in draws!!

Day 2 of training and it looks like the same group as starters participating in set piece defending. No Neymar, obviously.

Alisson will hurt his arm and Weverton will step in, shut down shop, and obtain another "historic" result. ;)

I'm just waiting for the day when Neymar scores from a corner, like Juninho Paulista did at CA'95 vs Colombia!!

So Tite sent people (not sure how many) to China 20 days pre call-up to make sure Paulinho was in good shape.

Gabriel Jesus is too young and too raw to start in the number 9. He looked completely overwhelmed during the first couple of matches of the Olympics loosing one goal my wife would have scored. Let's hope Tite is right.
This match is going to be tough - it's going to be crucial - A MUST WIN.

This guy is such a d*ck. I don't watch his stuff on TV but I do listen to his podcast, which I use to find pretty decent besides his overtly critical analysis of all things Brasil. But I got really pissed off a few days ago when I listened to it and he mocked us for being happy about the gold medal and he went really overboard with it. I find it funny how a gringo who has supposedly lived in the country for over 2 decades doesn't mention how despite the opponent, this has always been a goal of ours.

I wasn't going to post the story but since his name came up I just had too lol.

Marcelo defending set pieces is a recipe for failure.
Tite is going to get his ass handed in 2 games with failed callups like paulinho, marcelo and raw players like jesus and gabigol.

I'm surprised that Gabigol doesn't get the nod to start!! And I still think we should try the 3-4-3 formation

And even though I like Paulinho and Marcelo alot, I gotta agree with you on this on!! This line-up would be acceptable in a couple of friendlies. .shit even the next round of WCQ'S vs Bolivia and Venezuela, but vs Ecuador and Colombia. ..it is truly a baptism of fire!!!
