Joining now after long absence. I've been wildly enjoying the resurgence of the Brazilian team with some very good games of late, and of course also enjoying Argentina's fall from grace. Hoping they don't recover from this 0-1 and Brazil beats Venezuela next, getting to our natural position, that is, the leaders.

How quickly things changed. Argentina and Chile in shambles and we are looking good. Still a pretty tight table but Brazil and Uruguay are starting to pull away. I'd say they are pretty much guaranteed through barring any disaster.

Bolivia punished for using an illegal player vs Chile and Peru. Chile and Peru awarded points putting Chile in 5th and Argentina in 6th on goals scored.
If Brazil were the beneficiary of such a decision, I can't imagine the upheaval from the rest of CONMEBOL.
This decision puts even more pressure on Argentina. If we defeat them, the soccer ball will be like a chunk of lead for the Argentines when they host Colombia. Such will be the pressure they will be under.
