yes, and usually for china friendlies, CFA tend to hire korean refs.

They cannot have refs from the home country, so most countries will just have local referees ref their games (In the US, Canadian, Mexican, or Caribbean refs always call our friendlies)

actually i remember few years ago (China vs. Paraguay), China used a Chinese ref (yes it is a big LOL).
it seems there was no rules saying home country can't use home ref (just that if you win, you might be accused of bribing the ref LOL).

the rules might be changed now, but i have seen couple of cases where home ref was used. (Hong Kong vs. Brazil, where Hong Kong ref was used).

Actually, I think you are right ntg. I am watching Puerto Rico vs. Spain right now and the center is from Puerto Rico, so I guess it isn't a must. It definitely looks better if the center referee at least isn't local.

camacho on the ghana game, he said the following:
    - i am happy with the first half performance, the team attacked well, but not too happy over the second half performance
    - if the team played with more heart, the score line 1-1 wouldn't happen
    - there are some problems that need to be fixed within the team, especially the physical aspect; however, i can only take care of the team for three days, and i can't supervise/control them everyday

    random news:
    - it seems camacho will stick with the formation of 4-2-3-1 with time to come

    (starting 11 of ghana game)
    zeng cheng *
liu jianye ** - zhao peng - feng xiaoting - sun xiang
    zhao xuri *** - qin sheng ***
hao junmin - zheng zhi - yu hanchao ****
    gao lin

for the players that are not starred, they have a concrete spot in the first team.

    * for zeng cheng, once beijing guoan's yang zhi his back, his space might be replaced
** liu jianye played due to injury to zhang linpeng
*** it has been reported that camacho is looking for a player that could defend and attack at the same time, and it seems the performance of zhao and qin are not meeting his standard, one of the two spaces might be replaced by huang bowen (once huang's suspension is over)
**** yu hanchao played because yu hai was suspended, it seems yu hai is preferred over yu hanchao and feng renliang

As for CM/DMF i think Yang Hao should be brought back, he´s a good tackler and a great distributor with the ball, i even think he would excel as AMF, with less defensive duties i believe he would do great.
As for Feng Renliang, Camacho always plays him on the right wing, whereas he´s proven to be alot better on the opposite flank.
One player that i´ve backed since many years is Wang Yongpo, but he´s never given the opportunity, maybe that will change now that he´s on fire in the CSL, but probably not....

i agree that wang yangbo should be considered.
he has been scoring for the last 5/6 matches (including today's shandong luneng match) for his team, he is 25 and could be considered.

one thing that i dun really like about camacho is he is rather conservative. he uses too much players based on guangzhou evergrande and doesn't really give chances to new people.
i understand that he wants to use 7 evergrande players in one match because they have better chemistry than other players, but he needs to diverse his portfolio by trying out new players.

regarding our backlines, we have sun xiang - feng xiaoting - zhao peng - zhang linpeng.
feng xiaoting and zhang linpeng will stay with time to come.
sun xiang, if his form drops, we have zheng zheng and rong hao.
i am particularly concerned about zhao peng, the guy is in a relegating CSL team, if he will stay with henan next season, we would using a league 1 dude.
there are other CBs that could be use, Pei Shuai (young dude with consistent playing time), Yu Yang, or even players from U-22/Olympics., the problem is Camacho is not giving them enough time.

haha yea i wonder that too. Imagine him in the Premier League...:notworthy:
I'd choose Liu Jianye over Zhao Peng IMO. I'd like to see Zheng Zheng play more

dunno if liu jianye played CB before, but i rather see the new guy yu yang get more chance to play. unfortuantely, zhao peng will most likely start for the sweden and brazil game.

zheng zheng will have his chance when sun xiang returns to china after the sweden game.

eventhough du wei seems to have a mini-career revival lately at CSL, he won't be called for the national team anymore.
camacho is looking at players that could go for world cup 2018, and du wei would retire by then.

good question. his performance has gone up and down (statically, he is one of the players in CSL that shot the ball the most).
i think he will be called up early next year..
(he will face competition from chen tao and deng zhuoxiang, who both are established CMF/AMF in the national team; and potential competition from wang yongpo if he gets called up.)
