Actually, I read on el grafico that it was the head to head that made us third, not GD ;0

I'd give them to the FAS u17 coach. IIRC, they were Champions last time around

 

You're thinking of Alianza. They finished runners up in the first tournament - Clausura 2014 - and champions last season - Apertura 2014. The person in charge there is Victor Manuel Pacheco. He's been the coach for the U17 national team in 2010/11 and did ok with them back then. He was then given the team again the next cycle but had that taken from him when Ruben Israel was brought in for the seniors and Rugamas - who was intern coach at the time - was given the U17's. More recently he had the U15's in 2013 when we finished third in the inaugural U15 CONCACAF Championship.

 

There you go. My memory failed me (again). Definitely think he should carry our u15, even our u17. Good coach, knows the youth system and players

 

I guess we can all agree this is the best news of the day, he should never been given the top job to begin with

 

Edgar Henriquez is hired as coach for the under 15 and under 17 team, he has previously coach the reserves of alianza back in 2011 and has coached various first division team including UES, Nejapa, Santa Tecla and Firpo

What is your opinion of the hiring, especially in comparison to the two previous coaches of the under 17 side Jose luis Rugamas and Rafael Tobar. Comment now on the selection below

 

I like the hire it's good someone with experience FINALLY got picked rather then throw a complete new coach in to learn on the job. However nt coaches still need to collaborate more together

 

While the under 15 concacaf championship got cancelled, Edgar Henriquez has formed a good idea of having them participate in the under 17 primera division.
What do you think of this idea, do you think its right idea or should they have play a few friendlies (which may get cancelled at any time)?

No, it's a great idea. If they play a whole tournament together, they'd gel perfectly. Sometimes, especially with our boys, we see that we can't have our players connect well. If our u15 do this and continue to do this until they're u17, we can have a really strong squad

 

Also hope they stick to a core of about 16/17 players. It is a NT after all

how many teams HAVE u13 squads?

 

I know Juve and Metapan do I assume the "big clubs" do but it wouldn't surprise me if some of them didn't

 

This is whats needed to help our football. more underage clubs! but competitive ones

 

No sign of it. I haven't heard anything of the league either
