He played pretty good game today, I wish he would have scored the header the goalie blocked.

Hey Bolivian, well you know Ruiz has been coming here the metro area a couple times now. He's been coming to Maryland to support a couple tournaments and a friend of mine that works in the radio station has invited him again to come to Maryland next month. I hope he likes it enough that he would want to play for DC next season.
Bolivian, k le paso a Bolivia Loco, wish you guys could of beat CR.

Tell me about it. :( Costa Rica has good youngsters, but I dont know why nos achicamos when it comes to smaller teams. We tie Argentina, but can't win vs a sub22 of Costa Rica? :(

Yea, Ruiz would be nice.... but he's getting old and I think this is his last run in MLS with the Union. DC United would have to trade for him... which I dont think would happen.
    :(

Ruiz out of Philly. It was probably his decision since many fans in the stands had their own personal biased against him and would yell nasty things.

Any idea where he's headed?? Veracruz?

At least with Veracruz he has a chance to earn promotion to the Mexican Primera Division.

If he goes to veracruz it would be taking a step back, so I guess I WILL have to watch telefutura and univision and whatever the other mexican channels air the games for the first time since he played in Puebla.

According to LaRed, its Pachuca, Puebla, or Veracruz. I think most likely the latter.

According to Cancha.com.gt, the three teams that are interested are Pachuca, Puebla y Estudiantes. Estudiantes makes more sense, as José Luis Sánchez Solá (Chelis) is their coach, and seems to have a good relationship with Ruiz since his stay in Puebla. I really doubt Ruiz would play in Veracruz.

Yes seems Chelis will take him, lastima que no es con Estudiantes de la plata , either way hope Ruiz plays in a top division, he deserves nothing less than that.

Their source is a twitter message from Mauricio Cardenas. The tweet just says he's going to Veracruz and it doesn't add anything much so I still take that as a rumor.

    ¿Cuándo podrá llegar a Veracruz?

Dude, WTF happened here? And why did he go to Veracruz? Yeah they're in the acenso but I dont see them making it back up to the 1st division. I think Ruiz will end up retiring after next year.

Apparently they offered more money than what the MLS was paying him. He will also join his old teammate Alejandro Acosta, and will play with Coban's old defender, Damián Macaluso. Sucks he chose Veracruz .

Macaluso is in Mexico?? I remember he was in Europe playing for Nancy in France. He left to Europe after playing in Guatemala with Coban.
