Just zipping through the match now on DVR. REALLY Nice to see both Kos & Ozil in the XI! For a guy with a new achilles, Kos showed surprising speed on a sprint in the first 10 minutes. Mesut is very active and energetic. Maybe he got the memo? [emoji6]
Happy to do it for games like this that no one's watching. Forces me to pay more attention, especially when it's in Spanish and I can pick up like, 1% of the words at best.
That was my favorite moment of the match. You could just see what it meant to him to make it back into the first team and also to his teammates. With holding's injury, kos have a much better chance of regaining his old spot. I'm rooting for him… to prove all his doubters wrong. And to form a legendary partnership with sokratis.
Probs. I wasn't being serious. Genuinely happy to see him back and playing such a pivotal role. Hope he can replicate that in a more important/demanding game
