Was it his pace or the defender missed the marking?

He means it when he says "my" satellite. :)

Btw, Uniteo, he's busy making gifs but told me, via an implant (I didn't know I had until now), that this is a trick question. You expect an answer of "32" but it was really the same 2 cars, 16 times each, a red Acura w/ license plates H06RKI, and a, wow, a 77 Pinto with a Hawaiian girl on the dash and Steely Dan in the...wait...is that an 8-track player? Time to upgrade my man. Pointing my satellite back to the game...oh frick! Missed the Adu goal and can't make a GIF! (just kidding)

Fwiw, a GreekSoccer poster called it a "perfect goal". (Edit: Just saw Johan's GIF. It was nice. This is the kind of fluid passing we've been told to expect from Aris. Nice.)

It was a nice team move, they unlocked the defence with 3 passes.

I'm hearing on the radio that Adu went insane after the goal! :D

Just a smart run, anticipating the cross and getting inside of his defender.

Well if he keeps playing there's more to come.

People complain about Freddy's lack of top end speed, but his quickness has never been in doubt as evidenced there. He simply beat his mark to the ball.

Have you seen the Aris fans? They don't want a "cool" response, his reaction is consistent with the Aris culture, perhaps a little understated.

In other news, Belenenses, the team Adu could not get on the field with lost again yesterday. They sit at the bottom of the table with 11 points, 10 goals in 19 games.

It would be interesting to track, the naming of BigSoccer poster kids. I'll see a guy w/ a BigSoccer shirt and Aris hat at the mall, w/ his boy. I'll point and ask if he's named "Johan", and he'll say, "of course...and his middle name's Dirk".

(Hey, we're all out of rep to spread his way, so I guess that will have to do.)

Thank you Aris for giving these guys a chance! Especially Adu. It's great to see him actually playing again.
