Not a fair comparison. CR7's team is better than Ibra's...

So much talk about Zlatan vs Cristiano and in the 2nd half of this game that's exactly what we got. Thrilling.

Ronaldo relishes the hating anyways - as do many with similar personalities - Neymar, Zlatan.

I was watching the Netherlands-Colombia game in the Arena-stadium in Amsterdam. But it would have been better to stay at home and watch Sweden-Portugal. What a game and what a player Ronaldo is.

why did Portugal invented a language full of vowels, if you "eat" half of the vowels when speaking?

Portugal becomes "P´rt´gal". Like the Numidian pirate from Asterix :D

Anyway, that was a funny video. Cristiano Ronaldo always looks towards the goalkeeper like if he is saying "WHAT THE ******** man??? Can´t you even defend these lame Ibra balls? Gee, everything depends on me always!"

Then he goes on and spits and the spit stays in his chin. lol

As a brazilian, I am quite sad that Sweden had to face Portugal to decide who would come to Brazil. I wanted both Cristiano AND Ibra at the 2014 World Cup. Sweden was really in a bad luck... it was in Germany´s group which would be VERY HARD to come out on top, then it got to face Portugal in the playoffs.

I can think of several other european nations that deserved much less than Sweden to be in Brazil next year.

Finally, two casual observation points about the matches:

1 - for all the "nords don´t cheat" talk we usually hear, Swedish players tried to cheat and get penalties TWO TIMES in the matches against Portugal. Portugal was lucky that Swedes are bad actors, because they were both clear shameful dives. In the first match, in Portugal, the player clearly tried for a penalty and dived without being touched, when he saw the ref didn´t fall for it, he got up and Portuguese players were accusing him and he was like "no no, I am a viking and I don´t cheat, I just fell and you can see I got up very fast". Yes, he got up very fast because the ref didnt whistle.... Btw, despite the two dives, no yellow cards for diving for swedes.

2 - you want your son to be a millionaire and best player in the world? Name him Ronaldo. What the ******** are the odds, realistically, that in a space of 20 years 3 of the best players of the world are named RONALDO??? Ronaldo The Phenomenon (3 times FIFA World Player of the Year), Ronaldinho Gaucho (2 times World Player of the Year) and Cristiano Ronaldo (one time FIFA World Player of the Year and soon to get his 2nd FIFA WPY award)

But there's also Ronaldao, one time promising centerback for Brazil during the 90s who turned out to be crap :D

That is why CR7 is the best in the world. Nobody can touch the best player in the world. Ibra is very good but he is on a middling NT too bad he ran against Portugal.

Ibrahimovic is on the same level as Cronaldo , messi or an other player in the world he just plays for a bad National team. But it wouldnt surprise me to see PSG win Champions league and for Ibrahimovic to win Ballon D'or this year.

Oh I know you think you are right many times. But when you throw things like: logic, stats, probability, and results out the window, it's easy to think that.

    1. Ibra is magical at times but no where near Messi or Ronaldo's level. I'd group him with Suarez, Falcao in the discussion for best out and out striker in the World.
    2. PSG will not win the Champions League. Their team is not deep enough and Ibra isn't good enough to pull them to the final. A favourable draw can get them to the Semis... maybe.
    3. It's a World Cup year. Even if PSG do win the CL the MVP of the WC will walk out Ballon D'Or winner unless it's a disputed or unconvincing #1

    Let me adjust this argument:
    3. It's a World Cup year. Even if PSG do win the CL the MVP of the WC will walk out Ballon D'Or winner unless it's a disputed or unconvincing #1, unless you're Messi, than you can be forgettable at the World Cup, fail to even make the final of the Champions League and still win.
