I think given everything a lot will depend on the Russia - Saudi Arabia game.

Egypt will play for a draw vs Uruguay now. Unless Egypt is marginally losing and Salah is needed to score a goal I do not expect to see Salah in the first game.

not bad 1st half against Colombia, just lacking pace up front and need to improve on reacting to crosses

Decent game so far (10 minutes to go), although not much going forward.

Colombia hacking away at Egypt like it was 2014. Not much creativity from them. Most of the damage on both sides was self-inflicted, hardly anyone really threatening.

    Quick notes:
    - El Hadary still has it.
    - No idea who is supposed to score without Salah on the field.

If they can defend like this against Uruguay and take a point without Salah it will be a good thing for them.
Another draw to Russia and then a victory to Saudi Arabia with Salah's come back would be a realistic positive scenario.

To be fair though Egypt gave up several very stupid fouls in very dangerous freekick positions. Colombia messed up the freekicks.
