Where: Emirates stadium When: October 31, 3:45 pm TV: ESPN plus, check local Spanish TV Fixture congestion is upon us and the fullback situation is bordering on dire. Would love to see us stay in this one and keep the unbeaten run alive, but probably wouldn’t be the worst thing if we dropped out of this one. Have no idea of the lineup.
https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/arsenal-promote-four-youngsters-squad-13508251 "Emile Smith Rowe, Joe Willock, Julio Pleguezuelo and Eddie Nketiah were all chosen by the Spaniard to take part in first-team training on Tuesday."
Youthful rotation... yes!!! As for watching this... A) This will be the very rare 2nd game in a row I can't watch live. B) I've checked my DVR guide and I do not see this match on any channel (please correct me if I'm wrong) so... C) I'm gonna have to depend on ESPN+ replay* * So there's some sort of URL which gets you to the list of replays without spoiling the score? Or ESPN+ just doesn't show spoilers?? I can't keep the facets of all these different streaming sites straight!
This is bullshit!!! Why can't this be on a normal channel like beIN like it had been for years??? Univision and all Univision-owned networks, such as TeleFutura and Galavision and all their local affiliates are all blocked on DISH due to a long-term carriage dispute, so it is out, and I am sick of this pay shit scheme/scam that ESPN has put in place, the EFL Cup is not worth having to pay for, my trust fund already pays enough to get any kind of TV for me, isn't there something the courts can do to stop this paywall gouging bullshit???
First and foremost rest every key first team player ahead of next week's games. Would love to stay in this competition but not going to cry if they miss out on this trophy.
I get it, but pride and form have a little to say here. I think he will start a heavily rotated side, but I think the bench will be strong. He will want to win this or force penalties I’m sure. Also, a fully fit side will struggle to get a result against this Liverpool, so maybe a win here is a better consolation than risking two losses. Remember when Jose at Chelsea used to play his best available 11 in nearly every game. Not saying it’s a good strategy, but he did win at least one cup every season.
True enough, but that Chelsea side was a deeper and more polished team than this edition of Gunners. And I'm not expecting a win vs. Liverpool but I do want them to play well and try for the win. Show some progress vs the season opener and build confidence in the ability to hang with title contenders. That zeal might help them nip a draw.
Cech, Jenkinson, Mustafi, Pleguezuelo, Lichsteiner, Guendouzi, Rambo, Smith-Rowe, Maitland-Niles, Mickey, and Welbz
I’m watching at the Cock n Bull pub in Columbia SC. Let’s kick some ass! Nice to see Maitlan-niles back

Goal from Lichtsteiner on the lofted through ball assist from Guendouzi. Excellent finish, weird participants.
The ref sucks and has now missed two clear corners from deflections, and has given them both as goal kicks.
Early second half, Jenkinson overlaps Welbeck, puts in a shot/cross, GK palms it away, Smith-Rowe cleans up the scraps, 2-0.
56: Guendouzi picks up a stupid second yellow card, dragging down a streaking Blackpool player with a lot of defensive cover, and he's sent off.
Bad marking from a corner, Ramsey didn't track, Mustafi couldn't cover, goal for O'Connor, 2-1 in the 67th.
Cech nearly gives the lead away while dilly-dallying on the ball in the penalty area. It's stripped from him, the ball fell to Delfouenso, who thankfully was a mile offside when he put the ball in the net. Still 2-1, and congrats to Leno for cementing his starting job.
