I think I said it before and I will say it again, him and Perez had such a great chemistry. It would be nice to see them rekindle that in Argentina. I hope those guys and Barrios can get on the field at the same time.

That'd be hard as hell. Gago is captain, Pablo Perez vice captain. Sebas is going to be the odd man out I fear

Maybe it won't happen immediately but as the months go by there may be some matches where all the Colombians can get on the field at the same time.
    You never know.

Sad thought Perez was the best of the 3 they have. They need to loan him.

Not even. He was actually playing when he was fit. Barrios was the one not getting any playing time. Once he gets back from injury I'm sure he's gonna get some minutes.

Perez played when both Perez and Gago were unavailable. He did not impress. The moment they returned, Perez went back to the bench. Barrios is far ahead of him in the pecking order, as are P Perez and Gago.

Even with Barrios' impressive semester, Boca are looking to sign Guido Pizarro, another central/defensive midfielder.

Santiago will get minutes, but he'll be getting the garbage minutes. It's going to take very impressive starts in very limited opportunities for him to push ahead of very established players.

Guido is as defensive of a midfielder as they come. A damn good one, too.

Didn't realize Sevilla bought him. The only news I get about transfers is from this forum. Even so, Boca are now reported to be looking at Nestor Ortigoza. The point remains: Schelotto is trying to bolster the central midfield and that doesn't look good for Sebas

Cardona has been very important for more than half of Colombia's accumulated points this World Cup cycle.
He put away Peru with a late goal to end it. Also scored winners against Bolivia and Paraguay on the road. Was important in orchestrating Perez's wonder goal against Ecuador the first time around. Was the main guy who helped us score in this Ecuador match too.

It could be argued that he has been the most important offensive player of this cycle. When he is on his game we are difficult to beat.

In the past I didn't even consider the possibility that Cardona is better then James. It doesn't say that I do think like that now, but it surely doesn't sound weird. When he's concentrate only in football, for me he is one of the talented players in the world. He has so much football, he can contribute in so many areas and can defend also, he just needs to get his head straight. I hope he'll do good in Boca. Professionally it's much better than Mexican league.

Dude is clutch. I had really wanted him in Europe but Boca is a massive club. Wishing him the best.

He is a great player but I'm hoping his relationship within the team and with the DT stays strong, specially if his game form declines. That being said, I think he improves Boca massively. Many in Arg don't really know who he is.
