Great match of edwin......he contributed a lot in offensive actions and in the first goal. (played 40 minutes)

The referee disalowed a legal goal and didnt shout a penalty for him.

Fabra also assist the last goal.

    Boca is leader

Hmmm he is abolutely starter in the top leader of the tournament, play every weekend the big part of time in all the matches. Have contributed un multipe goals.

Yeah in some matches he wasnt constant with the ball....but he have acomplished the instructions of his coach, always generating at least two goal options per match, despite not having always the best match.

You have been more excited in another guy that have been only once starter in one of the worse clubs in the same tournament.

As a player who has complications outside of the club and national team, I expect excellence out of him.

By this point, he has 4 goals and 2 assists in 14 matches this season with Argentina and we need him to be on a hot streak getting direct results.

watch the matches before repeat bold stats, a lot of goals of boca have started with a pass of cardona, dribble, fault or shot. that wasnt credit as goal or assist

is funny that you donr expect exellency from all players...

cardona have been regular , he is important in that team

if he wins his spot at Boca yes.... would be incredible to have 4 starters there and then moving that type of chemistry to the NT.

anyone know how Sebastian did? He played for a little bit. I still maintain a slight bit of hope that he'll play a little more

He had little influence on the game. Only a few touches, a couple of them pretty bad. He looked very rusty

feel the same way. Best thing may be for him to leave Boca and start fresh elsewhere. I think he has a lot to prove but he cant do it @ Boca.

Think they go a bit overboard with how fat he is.

Quick google search says he is 6 feet and is 180.... I don’t think he weight that low. But maybe he is just like Muriel and Bacca who have fat faces. Some people are big boned

I think it is some Colombian journalist trying to stir up some crap but I heard a rumor that Cardona may not make the list of the Final 23.

Or at least he is not a certainty as most of us like to believe.

He is a sub.... none of the subs have a garantee to be there and his idiotic offsensive gesture can hurt him. Teo did stupid shit at clubs but never on the NT. Cardona is 24-25 not 16.

Only clear 13 going are Pekermans starters and 2 more goalies. So starting line up is set in stone minus a CF/LM depending if we play a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-2-2-2. I love to say Abel or Sanchez won’t start but regardless they are going. Everyone else is up in the air

I wouldnt be too shocked to be honest if he didnt make the final list. However, I was watching the Brighton game yesterday and watching Izzy do his thing. Overall, good performance but there was one 1 v 1 where Izzy hesitated and didnt know how to finish the play. It would have meant 3 points for Brighton (they were playing with only 10 men). Not the 1st time I've seen this from him. Cardona puts those away 9/10 times. I guess where I'm going is Cardona is what I would call a clutch player. He showed it thru the WCQ and NT friendlies.

I know Cardona comes with a lot of baggage and to be fair this half of his season has been one of inconsistency and other issues. However, if the 23 spot is between Cardona vs Gio and/or Cardona or JFQ, that one is a no-brainer.

Ineffectual in 70 mins vs Palmeiras. Dropped deeper in the second half and distributed well but a couple passes just picked off by a defender that would have broke the lines for teammates.
