Let's try this one more time. Pics of any EE kits, past or present, club or country, gaudy or gorgeous, pleasant or putrid. Commentary & opinions encouraged. I'll start with a couple pics of the Neva lads. Zenit vs. Swiss side Grasshoopers in UEFA Cup action, 2002. Wow, are these ugly. Zenit's 1995 team pic.
Zenit vs. Andorran side Encamp in UEFA Cup action. The outrageously ugly Andorran strips are perfectly matched with an even more outrageous haircut. Edgar Davids, you ain't. Zenit's white kit, vs. CSKA Moscow in the Russian Cup Final, 2002.
Lokomotiv Moscow vs. Borussia Dortmund, Champion's League 2002 Loko's white kit, vs. Saturn-RENTV, 2002
Probably won't see these kits much longer. Saturn-RENTV vs. the soon to be renamed Torpedo-ZIL, 2002. Torpedo Moscow's 2002 white kit.
Wisla Krakow vs. Schalke 04, UEFA Cup 2002 Slavia Praha in a nice Adidas kit, sharp stuff, vs. PAOK Thessaloniki in the UEFA Cup, 2002
Czech FC Synot & Moldovan side FC Constructorul-93 Cioburciu (what a mouthful!) in 2002 Intertoto Cup action: Dinamo Kyiv vs. Bestikas in the Champions League, 2002...will Dinamo ever NOT have an Adidias kit?
Dinamo Kyiv's dark kit....classy. Opponent is Lokomotiv Moscow, December 2002 friendly. Ukrainian arch-rivals Shaktar Donetsk, vs. Krivbas in the Ukrainian Cup.
New Zenit kit?? A return to Adidas?? Well, kinda... Think of this as the not-even-remotely-close-to-semi-professional Zenit side But a damn fine jersey, nonetheless. For evidence, I present this: Shurik, I eagerly await your valued opinion. BTW, Shurik, in case you are interested.... http://afz.zenitspb.org/fcafz.shtml
FC Constructorul-93 Ciobruciu are now known as FC Tiraspol. They are a de facto farm team of the Moldovan champions Sheriff Tiraspol, although the two sides play in the same division. The red and green in their kit, I assume, are a reference to the flag of the unrecognized Transistrian Moldavian Republic, a renegade separatist state, of which Tiraspol is the capital.
I was at this game, and I must say that the Moldovan side was terrible. Perhaps they just had a bad day, but they didn't even threaten the Synot keeper for most of the match. I will try to dig up some pictures of Czech and Slovak clubs....
The ole white armpits, huh? I see they've returned to royal blue after one year's flirtation with sky blue.
Yup....the pic looks kinda funny, like the camera had some kind of goofy filter on it. But the goal clips vs. Saturn also are that very same dark royal color. STILL haven't found a good pic of the front....with me, Umbro kits are kind of hit and miss...either I really like them (their more traditional designs) or they are god-awful ugly. Can't say I think those white armpits are that great, either, and the b/w pics of the training kits they had on this spring showed a big ugly dark stripe running wrist to wrist, crossing the shoulders above the logo. ugh. Thankfully this doesn't appear on the game kits. The shorts they were wearing vs. Saturn had two big white side panels and a white striped waistband -- way too busy, look like boxing trunks.
Better pics .... Kerzha Looks like they put a Ford logo on the left sleeve, too. Well, that is an unwelcome addition to the backside.
this is the best kit, fradi kid. dont forget how lucky you got when u eleminated FK Tirana http://search.ebay.com/albanian-national-team_W0QQsokeywordredirectZ1QQsonewuserZ1
