We’ve got three friendlies in late May and early June against against Bolivia, Ireland Republic, and France. Who’s on the list you would call in?

    My group:

    (4) Goalkeepers
Zack Steffen, Bill Hamid, Jonathan Klinsmann, Ethan Horvath

    (6) Fullbacks
DeAndre Yedlin, Shaquelle Moore, Timmy Chandler, Antonee Robinson, Eric Lichaj, Jorge Villafana

    (6) Defenders
Matt Miazga, John Brooks, Cameron Carter-Vickers, Justen Glad, Tim Parker, Erik Palmer-Brown

    (8) Midfielders
Wes McKennie, Marky Delgado, Tyler Adams, Darlington Nagbe, Kyle Scott, Keaton Parks, Wil Trapp, Cristian Roldan

    (8) Attackers
Christian Pulisic, Jonathan Amon, Lynden Gooch, Timothy Tillman, Kenny Saief, Paul Arriola, Joe Corona, Seb Lletget

    (12) Forwards
CJ Sapong, Dom Dwyer, Josh Sargent, Tim Weah, Aron Johannsson, Bobby Wood, Andrija Novakovich, Jordan Siebatcheu, Rubio Rubin, Haji Wright, Jozy Altidore, Julian Green

...Okay, it may seem like overkill to call in so many players, but considering we’re outside of the World Cup, I would use this time as a collective January Camp to bring the whole group together that projects to be part of the team moving forward.

That said, a stab at projecting my XI for each game.

    goalkeepers
    hamid, steffan, bono

    defenders
Matt Miazga, John Brooks, Cameron Carter-Vickers, EPB, Yedlin, Moore, Chandler, Robinson, Villafana

    mid
McKennie, Delgado, Adams, Nagbe, ,Trapp, weah, pulisic, saief, bradley, arriola, (I have arriola, weah listed as mids but really more wingers in a 4-3-3)

    forward
Aron Johannsson, Bobby Wood, Andrija Novakovich, Jozy Altidore,

28 is a lot probably drop chandler, johannsson and maybe add zardes/nagbe more I think about it.

I am curious about ur lineup is it really a 4-1-3-1-1

I'd like to see them try multiple lineups against the weaker two teams. I don't want to see the same people start in the same position every match and subs for three minutes.

I want to see subs who play 30 and 45 minutes and I don't care if the subs are all used and then someone has to come out and they have to play with ten outside of against france the players/subs should be predetermined.

    I'd like to see a 4-3-3 with mid/fwd of

    weah-wood-arriola
    pulisic
combo of mckennie/adams/trapp as the two 6 because pulisic.

I also would like to see a 4-4-2
wood-nova(really don't care who the two forwards are though)
    pulisic
    saief-----------------arriola
    mckennie/adams/trapp(one of the three)

against the two weaker teams I want to see a bunch of different players/looks.
I want to see players like weah for somewhere between 60-90 minutes total in the first two matches. I don't want to see yedlin for 180 min in those two match and same for villafana.

things are different against france who will lineup serious firepower in a match where they are getting ready to go to the world cup. Set up defensively(which is still a good thing to practice...you know like saying the goal is to get atleast a draw kind of strategy) losing 6-0 would be an ugly look and I am sure france is expecting a real lineup not a bunch of guys that watch from the bench with their clubs.

    altidore
    saeif pulisic pulisic
    bradley-trapp
    villa-brooks-miazga-yedlin

I'd leave longshots and guys who don't belong like horvath(demoted to third goalie for club team), scott(can't get min at his club has shown zero sign of being ready for this level),parks(again can't get minutes at his club), wright(struggling at his loan), roldan(there is a reason he gets called in and gets 3 minutes), gooch(terrible season not sure why he has earned a call up), amon(has been hurt), legett(coming off long injury let him stay with his club at play he is in long term plans but next month just isn't important for him), tillman and siebu are youth guys who are taking callups from other countries...don't waste spots on guys who aren't interested.

he only gave a hint to maybe who is going to be included when he mentioned that all mls guys won't be released so the euro matches will probably be heavy on euro players.
