According to Armed Forces Daily, the Dynamo have agreed upon a multi-year sponsorship with the Army Corps of Engineers to be the sponsor of the Dynamo jersey. Terms of the deal were not available but a press conference is believed to be scheduled for Tuesday. The article was able to get some anonymous quotes from the Dynamo organization: "The Dynamo looked long and hard to find the perfect partner to be on our jersey. We believe this is a perfect match of a team and a sponsor that share many of the same goals, capabilities and discipline in running an organization. As Hurricane Harvey showed, the Corps of Engineers excelled in not sharing important information, the untimely relaying of news and statistics lacking context and explanation, and generally showing a lack of regard for the public and area homeowners. The Dynamo have as a core belief every one of these traits and carry them over to our customer service operation". According to the article, both the Corps of Engineers and the Dynamo have already started planning some sponsor activation and promotion events: "We are looking closely at some cutting edge promotions like Season Ticket Holder Innundation Day where a lucky winner will get their house and car flooded by a targeted Corps water release. Additionally, the Pitchside Patio will be dug out and sunk below the playing field surface level and a small levee put around it to create a new area called the "Flood Pool" which we think will really appeal to our Katy-area fans and will be a big attraction when rain is forecasted for game time."
