This article sums up the state of our national team perfectly: http://www.voetbalzone.nl/doc.asp?uid=325070
Henderson has been in good form since returning from injury and is England's captain. I can't stand Dele, but his production doesn't lie; 10 goals and 13 assists (plus a bunch of penalties earned). Even though I don't like him as a player he's effective and will get used.
Bergwijn, who was recently voted best player of the month in Ereredivisie, would have deserved to be there. He has been better than Kluivert in recent weeks.
Still persisting with Dost? Dude just cant cut it at international level. Even a clown like Stones will have a field day against him
Depay with a well placed header gives Lyon the win: https://www.ad.nl/buitenlands-voetb...n-na-winnende-goal-in-slotseconden~va118115e/
Wie moet de aanvoerdersband bij Oranje krijgen? Virgil van Dijk (39%) Kevin Strootman (18%) Georginio Wijnaldum (9%) Stefan de Vrij (25%)
Van Dijk = captain, De Vrij = vice captain. Wijnaldum is not captain material. Strootman will be bridging until other young midfields get more experienced (not long term) and has not performed well (in NT) when he was captain.
Going from a young talent that went through the humiliation of a 10-0 trashing by PSV to this is quite remarkable. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...tefan-Vrij-snubs-elite-clubs-Inter-Milan.html Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal target Stefan De Vrij 'ready to snub elite clubs and join Inter Milan' Stefan De Vrij reportedly agrees to join Inter Milan when his Lazio deal expires The Dutch defender has also been linked with Manchester City and Barcelona De Vrij has already confirmed his intention to leave Lazio at end of the season By Alex Martin For Mailonline Published: 15:26 BST, 26 March 2018 | Updated: 15:27 BST, 26 March 2018 Lazio contract rebel Stefan De Vrij is ready to reject a host of Premier League clubs and Barcelona to sign for Inter Milan on a free transfer this summer, according to Gazzetta dello Sport. ^^He will start at Inter and they have been playing well recently and may edge out Roma for the qualifying spot for CL football.
I watched on the BBC Match of the day Aké and again he didnot look good defensively. He had an assist though, but that's not his main job. He didnot do much when the 2 goals against were scored.
Depay with a double yesterday. DeVrij also scored off a corner. Afellay has been asked to leave Stoke
Really? If that's a reason to kick out a player you can kick out any player in the Eredivisie, as they almost all get into that or even into a fight. Sounds more like looking for a scapegoat for their woefull performance.
Sorry, but I watched him again in the match against Cristal Palace today and I cannot understand that you donot see his tactical shortcomings. He really has no clue where to position himself. A few times the opponent ran from the mid line towards the Bourn goalie with 4 men running back to shut the attack down, but Aké wasnot among them, no he was about 20 meters further away....while he's the defender. Tactical shortcomings is flattering....he has no clue about defensive tactics.
